NICE Suggestions NICE Suggestions Copyright Ibiza OrgaNICE NICE To do Copyright Ibiza OrgaNICE NICE City discovery The historical centre of Ibiza town, Dalt Vila (UNESCO), is a beautiful maze of small (pedestrian) streets where the laundry is still hanging to dry in the streets, where small shops and restaurants welcome you, where you can still feel the history of past times. You can just enjoy passing through –with or without guide- and at the bottom of the old town, around the old port, there’s a buzzing shopping and bar area. What -we feel- cannot be missed during a visit is to learn more about the Spanish kitchen by organizing a stop on the way with a tasting of local tapas, ham, olives, olive oil and/or wine. The lovely beach town of Santa Eulalia des Riu also is a surprisingly nice alternative for this. The city centre features nice shops, a wide boulevard alongside the long city beach leading into the harbour. At the other side of town there’s a lovely church built on the top of a hill, Puig den Missa, looking over the city and blue sea. Plenty to see and taste here as well! Copyright Ibiza OrgaNICE NICE Island discovery You get to see most of island by motorized transport. Here we can offer you plenty of options: (vintage) scooters, quads, sand buggies, jeeps, mehari´s or the classic ´hippie´ style 2CV. Because it is difficult to navigate on a scooter or quad these will be guided tours with several stops on the way to take pictures and the guides will provide the group with extra information on what is seen during the tour. With cars you travel more comfortably and you can choose to be taken round the most important spots of the island with a driver, like with the jeeps where you can choose between basic 4x4 jeeps or the more luxurious Wrangle. Or you can get to know the island by using a road book with your team with humorous cartoons, photos and questions which will lead you along the main attractions of the island. This can be done by jeep but also in the typical 2CV cars to experience the ultimate hippie vibe. Ibiza is known for it´s over the top luxury and hippie vibe, so we can provide in funny ´bling bling´ or 60s outfits to add a little extra to the whole discovery. These tours can be completely custom made. On Saturday for example there’s the most famous hippie market of the island, Las Dalias, which is definitely worth visiting during a tour. But of course other NICE breaks can be organized on the way to enjoy a tasting or picnic, to take a dive into the refreshing sea or to participate in team building activities or workshops. Whatever that will fit the groups interest. The vehicles will be delivered and picked up at the hotel – or start the tour straight from the airport, a fun way to start your trip! Copyright Ibiza OrgaNICE NICE Island discovery Copyright Ibiza OrgaNICE NICE On water Ibiza is surrounded by crystal-clear waters with tropical blue colours, (uninhabited) small islands and there´s always a NICE breeze – a cruise by boat can just not be missed during your stay. You will be able to explore the rocky coastline with little bays and long sandy beaches and even set foot on “Ibiza´s little sister” Formentera or sail around the “magical rock” Es Vedra. Or leave by boat from San Antonio, the best way to start exploring the beautiful south-west coast with Cala Gracioneta, Cala Comte, Cala Salada and Cala Bassa – with amazing sunsets. If you are lucky you can even spot dolphins! Along the way stops are made to take a dip or get ashore for some sunbathing or exploration. Depending on the group size we can offer you a wide variety of boats: small but ever so fast RIBs, private yachts, traditional fisherman´s boats, (large) classical sailing yachts and catamarans. All will be privatized for your group and catering can be arranged on board. We can also organize extra´s on board like a DJ, musicians, masseuses, snorkelling sets, water sports activities like Stand Up Paddle boards, kayaks, jet ski´s, wake boards etc. Enjoy the scenery while sipping a drink, eating some snacks, listening to Ibiza tunes while the wind strokes your hair. Because the island is surrounded by water there is an original public means of transportation: the water taxi! There´s a service all around the island, but for groups staying in a hotel at Talamanca or Playa d´en Bossa a nice way to get into the city. Always fun! And if you have a group that really wants to party, we can also book group tickets at one of the many party boats. Copyright Ibiza OrgaNICE NICE Beach day The sun almost always shines on Ibiza, so a day –or just a morning or afternoon- at the beach is always a nice treat. The island has many beautiful beaches, in many different shapes and forms, where you can just chill at one of the many beach clubs with comfortable sunbeds while cool DJs are playing their tunes, sexy dancers are performing, drunk people are dancing with their feet in the sand and bronzed waiters bring you your food and drink. Just simply blending in with the beach loving lounging crowd will definitely make you feel the “Ibiza vibe” the island is known for. But of course we can also organize all kinds of activities on the beach, original competitions like sand castle building, making your own floatable (there will be a test in the end!) raft out of card board or how fast can you burry your team (with their heads sticking out of the sand of course!). But also beach volley courts can be set up, kayaks and Stand Up Paddle (SUP)boards can be provided and used either in a leisure or competitive set-up. Depending on the budget we can also organize jet ski's, banana boats, sea bobs, flyboards, water-skis, wakeboards, parasailing etc. And snorkelling gear can always be provided of course. But besides being a perfect beach destination, Ibiza is also a spiritual and a wellness island. Many yoga retreats and wellness centres are to be found all over the island and also on the beach it is very common to find groups doing yoga and every beach club has its own massage “salon”. We can also arrange this for your group at the beach. Imagine a day of the programme starting with yoga on the beach with sunrise – rise & shine! Copyright Ibiza OrgaNICE NICE Creativity The island always attracted creative people which resulted in many handcraft markets where the craftsmen show and sell their work. Because a lot of craftsmen were -and still are- hippies, the name hippie market was quickly given. Las Dalias is the oldest, most popular and famous one, located near San Carlos at about a 30 minute drive from Ibiza town and only a 10 minute drive from Santa Eulalia. You feel the relaxed atmosphere and there is lots to see and shop. You will find many stalls selling leather goods, boots, jewellery, white linen clothing and art. Spread around the market you have a couple of bars and food stalls, restaurants and you can enjoy the parade of people that passes by. We can organize workshops based on this creative character: make your own Ibiza wrist bands, jewellery, henna tattoo, slippers, beach bag or sun hat. In a ceramic workshop teams can express themselves individually, while later unite those pieces into a Totem Pole that stands for –for example- the company. Or we can arrange a canvas wall, where the participants start to paint individually the company values –for example- and in the end everybody can join for some real Action Painting. At the northern beach of Benirrás it is a Sunday tradition that drummers will gather at the end of the afternoon to bring a salute to the setting sun with their African drums. Apparently a real meditative activity that brings them a lot of satisfaction and team spirit. Make your own ´oceanic drum´ and join the drummers after some practice with professional teacher. All activities can be organized in different settings and F&B can be requested. Copyright Ibiza OrgaNICE NICE Tasting To get a taste of the local dishes is always NICE to include in a programme. It is not only about the tasting because you also learn something about the traditions of the region you visit. For example many people consider Hierbas Ibicencas a true representative of the Spanish Balearic Islands. It is in fact a drink which is protected by the Regional Designation of Origin and has been made on the islands for over 200 years. It is an aniseed flavoured drink which is made with a combination of the extracts and flavours of a variety of herbs that are found on the island. With the help of an expert you will be guided through the Hierbas making process. After closing and sealing the bottle it has to stay closed for at least two months so the herbs will do their job. At home you can enjoy your self-made Hierbas and think back about your wonderful time on Ibiza. Paella is another regional specialty which can be prepared by groups. We can organize this at an organic farm located between San Carlos and Santa Eulalia. It has all kinds of farm animals growing up in an environment free of chemicals and pesticides and sufficient space.
