Open the game folder (if paired, its C: Steamapps pair of steamapps shared files or anywhere else you may have installed it.) Delete the Games EXE file and server EXE file. Then go to the steam, click the right button on Arma 2 OA and install it only to update when you want it. Then click on the local file tab at the top and then click the Integrity Check button. This will re- download only two EXE files you It's going to take a minute or two. Once this is done, you are essentially the 1.00 version installed. Now that it's done, go and select the patch that you want to upgrade to install the patch that you want and far you go! Several times the commander will say that the game has not been found.
