Flight Lieutenant Trevor Dill has been remembered for his deeds in World War II and work in his Kaipara community. The Kaipara Hills farmer and WWII navigator died on June 28, on his 95th birthday. Trevor was born to parents Fredrick and Dora, and grew up milking cows by hand on the family farm in the Kaipara Hills. In 1940, at the age of 19, he joined air force.
