It can also be seen in stores like Target, Walmart, Costco, Walgreens, Kmart, Sam’s Club, CVS and Rite Aid. The list of places where Red Bull can be accessed goes on and on. Based on the research Red Bull distribution strategy is selective because their channels of choice are popular retailers. For example in there is a bodega everywhere which grants easy access to the energy drink. Lastly stores like WalMart and Costco allows consumers to buy the energy drink in packs for at a discount price.

Promotion: → Red Bull’s advertising started with several funny cartoon commercials showcasing different situations where people drink a can of Red Bull and suddenly get “ wings” to fly away. For example there was one about a married couple, where the wife was telling the husband that his mother in law was coming to visit and he was thinking of ways to shorten the visit. He suddenly thinks about giving her a can of Red Bull, which will make her fly away. This is a way of saying that Red Bull can give you the lift or wings you need in any situation. In each commercial Red Bull does not directly tell people to consume their product, they simply show what can happen if people decide to drink a can of Red Bull. Not to mention the commercials are very entertaining and funny. Red Bull also utilizes athletes and even consumer of their products on the commercials giving it a realistic feeling. → Red Bull mainly creates commercials which are advertised on television or on their Red Bull TV platform. It is easier to target their consumers digitally than it is with billboard ads. Their products are mainly promoted via events, sponsorships and even video games. They really connect and understand their audience which is why they are very loyal to Red bull. They are very good at creating events where people will consumer their products and have fun. Red Bull knows how to create the perfect atmosphere whether it is at a sports game or one of their music events and that's why they are considered as more than just an energy drink.
