The distance was longer (5150kms from Perth to Sydney via Uluru) there were more travel days (10 instead of 7) and most importantly there was more money raised for Cancer Council than ever before, with the total being $2,640,505!! Highlights included a huge send off from Perth, travelling to the iconic Uluru, dress up Smurfs, Princesses and Village People days, battling the Oodnadatta track and our own Shitbox Wedding in the middle of Australia, plus we finished in one of the most beautiful parks in Australia, Centennial Park. Day 3 2019 PR OVERVIEW Promoting the Shitbox Rally 2019 Autumn started early as this was a big one - the 10th Shitbox Rally Australia and longest rally ever. Interest was high, particularly in Perth and Sydney - the big city start and finish lines - as well as regional areas throughout WA and NSW. The start line featured every major news station in Perth with numerous live-crosses and the finish line was covered by The Daily Edition and Prime 7, despite the Federal Election being held the following day!
