DANIEL RACHMANIS President The Estée Lauder Companies, Latin America Daniel Rachmanis is President, Latin America, The Estée Lauder Companies, a position he was appointed to in January 2016. Mr. Rachmanis is also a member of The Estée Lauder Companies’ Executive Leadership Team. He has led the Company’s expansion in Latin America since 2009, when he was named Senior Vice President, General Manager, of the newly created region. In this role, he oversaw all operations from Mexico to Argentina of The Estée Lauder Companies more than 25 brands including Estée Lauder, Clinique, MAC, Bobbi Brown, La Mer, and Aveda to name a few. Under his leadership, the Company has launched seven new brands and expanded into more than 30 second-tier cities across 17 markets in Latin America. He joined The Estée Lauder Companies in November 2007 as Senior Vice President, International Business Development, where he was responsible for the fast and successful international roll-out of the BeautyBank brands, as well as the acquisition and integration of Forest Essentials (India). Previously, Mr. Rachmanis was Chief Executive Officer of Chemaid Laboratories where he successfully restructured the Sales & Marketing and Research & Development capabilities to make that company a key player in the premium skin, body, and hair care sector. Prior to that, he was President, Fine Fragrances, Americas for Firmenich Inc., where he was responsible for the development of the fragrance business across South and North America. Mr. Rachmanis’ international experience includes three years in Paris, France, as the Regional Director for Saint Gobain Group, where he managed the business strategies for the Perfumery and Pharmacy Glass Division. He was also the Export Director for Saint Gobain Group in Sao Paulo, Brazil, for five years and oversaw development in new markets such as Asia, Middle East and Latin America. He has a Masters in Business Administration from the prestigious Hautes Etudes Commerciales (H.E.C.) business school in France and is fluent in French, Spanish, English and Portuguese. He has also lived for 13 years in Argentina and more than another 15 years in Spain, France and Brazil before settling in the U.S. 18 years ago. He serves on the Board of Directors of Worldfund and Council of the Americas..
