Participaram desse encontro 14 pesquisadores, estrangeiros e brasileiros, dedicados aos estudos sobre fascismo, autoritarismo e democracia. Essa rede de estudos, que entre 2005 e 2015 foi sendo fortalecida com novos nomes ligados a instituições distintas, teve como mentores os profes- sores Alberto De Bernardi (Universidade de Bolonha, Itália), Luís Reis Torgal (Uni- versidade de Coimbra, Portugal), Alberto Pena-Rodríguez (Universidade de Vigo, Espanha) e Maria Luiza Tucci Carneiro (Universidade de São Paulo, Brasil). Para a realização do colóquio, formou-se uma comissão organizadora lide- rada pelo professor Jaime Antunes, então diretor-geral do Arquivo Nacional que, gentilmente, endossou a proposta de sediar o encontro realizado em meio a uma extensa greve de funcionários públicos e bancários. A comissão científica respon- sável pela produção do programa acadêmico e atividades culturais foi composta por Jaime Antunes, Claudia Beatriz Heynemann e Vivien Ishaq. A professora Maria Luiza Tucci Carneiro, integrante do grupo fundador da rede, posicionou-se como representante do LEER. Esse encontro, riquíssimo pela diversidade de abordagens sobre o(s) fascismo(s), fechou o círculo de uma primeira etapa de estudos multidisciplinares que, desde 2005, reuniu especialistas dos países aqui citados. Além da produção de novos conhecimentos acerca do tema, o grupo reafirmou a importância de institucionalização dessa rede que, entre 2005 e 2018, marcou espaço na historiografia italiana, portuguesa, espanhola e brasileira. Ainda que de difícil definição, o fascismo é entendido como um movimento político, econômico e social, que se desenvolveu em alguns países europeus após a Primeira Guerra Mundial, tendo Alemanha e Itália como modelos referenciais para outros países, como ocorreu em Portugal durante o governo de Antônio Oliveira Salazar (1932- 1968), na Espanha, com Francisco Franco (1939-1976), e no Brasil de Getúlio Vargas (1930-1945). Com algumas características comuns, ainda que expressivas de experiências distintas, o fascismo vem sendo interpretado por seu espectro ideológico. Portanto, é um tema oportuno que serve de alerta para os dias atuais, o controle dos corpos e das mentes - 7 quando a palavra fascismo vem sendo empregada indevidamente, principalmente durante esse período de transição política vivenciado pelo Brasil. A escolha do tema para o Colóquio Internacional, cujos resultados são agora publicados com título homônimo, teve como inspiração proposições de Michel Foucault em suas obras Vigiar e punir: nascimento da prisão e Microfísica do poder, preocupado, como sempre esteve, em diagnosticar os mecanismos de poder disciplinar na sociedade.1 Daí direcionarmos

Kız arkadaşlarından birinin kolunu da bıçakla kestiğini yine kendisi itiraf etmiştir. • İsviçre’de yaşadığı 1902 – 1904 tarihlerinde sosyalist bir aydın kimliği edinmiş ve yine sosyalist bir yayın olan L’avvenire del Lavoratore (Emekçilerin Geleceği) isimli dergide yazılarını yayımlamıştır. • Akabinde orduya katılmış ve kariyerine öğretmen ve gazeteci olarak devam etmeden önce iki yılını orduda geçirmiştir. Bu dönemdeki yazı ve konuşmalarında Mussolini, kanlı bir devrim ihtiyacından bahsetmiş ve komünist düşünür Karl Marx’ı övmüştür. Hatta daha ileri giderek vatanperverliği eleştirmiştir. • Mussolini 1912 yılında İtalyan Sosyalist Parti’nin resmi yayın organı olan Avanti‘nin (İleri) editörü oldu. Ancak iki yıl sonra, Birinci Dünya Savaşı’na verdiği destek sebebiyle gazeteden atıldı. • 1919’a kadar fikirleri çok hızlı bir şekilde değişen Mussolini daha sonra Faşist Parti’ye dönüşecek olan faşist hareketin öncüsü oldu.

Ida rencontre Mussolini de manière fugace à Trente et en est éblouie. Elle le retrouve à Milan où il est un ardent militant socialiste qui harangue les foules et dirige le quotidien l’Avanti. Ida croit en lui, en ses idées. Pour l’aider à financer le Popolo d’Italia, point de départ du futur parti fasciste, elle vend tous ses biens… Lorsque la guerre éclate, Benito Mussolini s’engage et disparaît de la vie de la jeune maman, qui découvrira avec stupeur qu’il est déjà marié avec une autre femme.

Every inch of their lives has been investigated, in terms of their thinking, their political choices, etc., and they have also been the subject of much debate. For some time now, investigations into the private and emotional lives of Mussolini and Hitler in particular have also enjoyed considerable success (Stalin, on the other hand, has been less 'lucky'). Mussolini the “womaniser” Italy was marked for many years by the political activity of Benito Mussolini, first a Socialist leader, acclaimed on the left for his anticlericalism and revolutionary zeal, and then a Fascist. REMARKS ON THE BODY AND ON ACTING IN MARCO BELLOCCHIO’S CINEMA Marco Bellocchio’s cinema is a cinema of the body. The characters in his films not only break the rules to which their bodies are subjected to, they also use their body as a means to express their agonizing emotions and as a way to undermine the presumed harmony of narration. The actors’ bodies have a problematic relationship with space, time, sounds, movements and images;1 they are bodies that are trapped in pauses, contractions, and in interior and exterior conflicts. In short, Bellocchio’s cinema is inhabited by interpreters whose physical potentialities are exalted almost to the limit, ready to become witnesses of a discomfort which is often irreconcilable with reality. One could call it a cinema in which the body, which has its own autonomous dimension, breaks down the mechanism of mimesis that is at the basis of the relationship between actor and character. Bellocchio devotes a great part of Cinema 3 ARTICLES | ARTIGOS Luceri 110 his poetic and stylistic work to the uncontrollable and irreducible force of the body because it enables him to bring forward the most obscure and hidden nature of the human soul. If actor and character belong to the narrative dimension of the film, then the body, as third element, becomes the vehicle of the visible which bears witness to that “suspension of meaning”2 that characterizes the entire filmography of Bellocchio.
