  • Multistrada 1260 Enduro a Whole New World. Yours to Conquer
The Redline Magazine 1|2019 Multistrada 1260 Enduro A whole new world. Yours to conquer. Foreword Welcome to Ducati Welcome Always Out to conquer more Croatia Since becoming a part of the big Ducati family, there has been no year-end that hasn’t moved Jadranska Magistrala me when I think about the main events characte- rising it. And 2018 is no exception… I recall the Adriatic Highway incredible success of the tenth edition of World Ducati Week, with record attendance of more Karlobag 44°31’04.8”N 15°05’14.7”E than 91,000 at the Misano circuit, not to mention the Race of Champions starring the Panigale V4 and twelve of our MotoGP and SBK riders, the absolute highlight of the show! Then the Moto- GP championship, which brought us 7 race wins and where we consistently played a starring role with our first-rate riders and bikes. An achieve- ment only underlined by the category’s speed record, 356.4 km/h, set by Andrea Dovizioso at the Mugello GP! These numbers and emotions remind me, and remind us just how strong and consolidated our brand is in the hearts of fans around the world, the very fans who have in- spired, and continue to inspire the concepts of Style, Sophistication and Performance that steer all of our activities. These guidelines have become part of our DNA, and guide us as we continue to research new products, new product segments and new emo- tions to bring to our fans. We want to expand our range to an increasingly wide fanbase, while remaining faithful to those principles at the root of our success.

  • Brembo Presents the 17 & 15Rcs Corsa Corta
BREMBO PRESENTS THE 17 & 15RCS CORSA CORTA The most innovative master cylinder ever developed by Brembo is now even more precise and modular for all types of motorbike Brembo - the world leader in the design, development and production of braking systems - announces the introduction of the 17 mm and 15 mm versions of the RCS Corsa Corta, the most innovative radial master cylinder for road use available on the market today. The expansion of the RCS Corsa Corta family responds in an optimised and customised way to the needs of all types of motorbike, which can now rely on even more tailor-made braking thanks to the choice of ideal sizes of RCS Corsa Corta master cylinders (15, 17 or 19 mm) to suit the braking characteristics of each motorbike. To make the braking system of a motorbike work even better, not only in terms of braking power but also of modulation and sensitivity on the lever, the master cylinder must be sized appropriately and ensure the best hydraulic torque ratio; the latter being the relationship between the diameter of the master cylinder piston and the diameter of the caliper pistons. This means that, depending on the size of the brake caliper pistons of each motorbike model, it is possible to choose the most suitable RCS Corsa Corta master cylinder for a perfect dimensional match with the rest of the braking system. In fact, if a master cylinder is oversized, this pushes an excessive mass of oil onto the caliper pistons, to the detriment of braking modulation and lever sensitivity.

THE NEW CONCEPT OF SPORT ACCORDING TO DUCATI WELCOME TO DUCATI DUCATISTI FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD CELEBRATE 90 YEARS OF HISTORY TOGETHER The 90th anniversary year has brought many great satisfactions, from the sales results to the success of the World Ducati Week which surpassed all expectations, and a return to victory in the MotoGP. We have celebrated in lots of different ways: the complete refurbishment of the Ducati Museum, the round-the-world journey with the Multistrada 1200 Enduro touching on symbolic places in our history and a photo-book celebrating the style of our motorcycles. Ducati is continuing to grow – both in the hearts of our fans and in the increased product range. Such growth wouldn’t have been so substantial without the participation of all the Ducatisti, including the company employees, the competitors on the racetracks and our customers and fans all over the world These are people who represent our brand with pride and enthusiasm and who, each in their own different way, contribute to the attainment of a common goal. It’s thanks to them that Ducati is so popular today and we wanted to celebrate this important anniversary together with them. It opens the way for a new two-wheel segment that meets the requirements of those seeking an accessible bike that is easy to handle and has low running costs but not wanting to miss out on the unique Scrambler spirit: fun and sharing of positive emotion. Sixty2 is a Scrambler inspired by youth street culture, skateboards, street food, pop music and, above all, the pop art that, back in 1962 (the year the very first Ducati Scrambler was launched), was taking the United States by storm. That's why the Sixty2, the most "popular" Scrambler ever, is already a "pop icon". With the Sixty2, the highly expressive Ducati Scrambler design takes on a fresh look thanks to a slim steel tank with dedicated graphics and logos. This makes the Sixty2 immediately recognisable, as do its three exclusive colours:

It is with great sadness that we say good-bye to one of our own, again. Bob Ward was a great Friend and Brother and he passed away doing what he loved the most. We will all miss your friendly, helpful, loving per- sonality. Till we meet again. The BIG ride 2010, which was a history making event, was the Scooter Ride, spearheaded by none other than ―Big Daddy‖ Ed Dacus. SO WE THOUGHT . What a great job and a GREAT ride. That was last April. But the REALLY BIG RIDE of 2010 was the November Scooter Ride. Thanks again to all the people involved and a special Colonel Bob thanks to Jeffie Dacus Ed’s Mother, Sherri Dacus, Les- lie Dacus Ed’s daughter-in-law. The Breakfast was OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD AGAIN. NOVEM- BER 13, 2010 turned out to be one of the coldest and rainiest days of the month. But the response was overwhelming. You may know 79 people attended the April event with 49 riders were rolling. The November event brought out 112 people and a total of 97 bikes, 50 of which braved the elements and actually rode the three stop shop tour laid out by Big Daddy and Shane Dorton.

The Ducati Scrambler 1100 aims to meet the needs of even the most demanding, expert motorcyclists - but without compromising the fun, style and freedom that the Scrambler stands for. A beefier bike with a bigger engine and an even better set of standard equipmentthat lets riders upgrade without leaving the Scrambler family. Just like in the '60s when the Scrambler was available with three different engines (250, 350 and 450 cm3), today's Land of Joy bikes offer three different displacements (400, 800 and 1100 cm3), resulting in a complete range with a flair for fun, iconic style, simplicity and self-expression. Key features include a new 1079 cm3 engine, which delivers generous torque right from the bottom of the rev range, and an agile Scrambler chassis set-up that has been developed in parallel with the engine to put higher performance within reach of all riders. With excellent pulling power and outstanding chassis geometry, the Ducati Scrambler 1100 maximises freedom and combines it with the excellent safety that comes with Bosch Cornering ABS and Traction Control: two features that go hand-in-hand with the superbly comfortable riding position specially developed for this model. On this Scrambler model the electronics package has evolved in line with Ducati tradition, maximising active safety thanks to the Bosch inertial platform.
