An achieve- ment only underlined by the category’s speed record, 356.4 km/h, set by Andrea Dovizioso at the Mugello GP! These numbers and emotions remind me, and remind us just how strong and consolidated our brand is in the hearts of fans around the world, the very fans who have in- spired, and continue to inspire the concepts of Style, Sophistication and Performance that steer all of our activities. These guidelines have become part of our DNA, and guide us as we continue to research new products, new product segments and new emo- tions to bring to our fans. The expansion of the RCS Corsa Corta family responds in an optimised and customised way to the needs of all types of motorbike, which can now rely on even more tailor-made braking thanks to the choice of ideal sizes of RCS Corsa Corta master cylinders (15, 17 or 19 mm) to suit the braking characteristics of each motorbike. To make the braking system of a motorbike work even better, not only in terms of braking power but also of modulation and sensitivity on the lever, the master cylinder must be sized appropriately and ensure the best hydraulic torque ratio; the latter being the relationship between the diameter of the master cylinder piston and the diameter of the caliper pistons. This means that, depending on the size of the brake caliper pistons of each motorbike model, it is possible to choose the most suitable RCS Corsa Corta master cylinder for a perfect dimensional match with the rest of the braking system. In fact, if a master cylinder is oversized, this pushes an excessive mass of oil onto the caliper pistons, to the detriment of braking modulation and lever sensitivity.

It is with great sadness that we say good-bye to one of our own, again. Bob Ward was a great Friend and Brother and he passed away doing what he loved the most. The BIG ride 2010, which was a history making event, was the Scooter Ride, spearheaded by none other than ―Big Daddy‖ Ed Dacus. SO WE THOUGHT . What a great job and a GREAT ride. That was last April. But the REALLY BIG RIDE of 2010 was the November Scooter Ride. Thanks again to all the people involved and a special Colonel Bob thanks to Jeffie Dacus Ed’s Mother, Sherri Dacus, Les- lie Dacus Ed’s daughter-in-law. The Breakfast was OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD AGAIN. NOVEM- BER 13, 2010 turned out to be one of the coldest and rainiest days of the month. But the response was overwhelming. You may know 79 people attended the April event with 49 riders were rolling. The November event brought out 112 people and a total of 97 bikes, 50 of which braved the elements and actually rode the three stop shop tour laid out by Big Daddy and Shane Dorton.
