Nick Groves, Norwich Fascinating stuff! I was an undergraduate at UCW, Aber 1974-77, when Old Coll was still an important part of life. The Penglais bell tower was always known as the 'Stanley Knife'. I am not sure that picture 3 is a graduation picture, as none of them are wearing hoods. The men are wearing undegrad gowns, and I think this may well be simply a group picture of students and teaching staff. (I have seen it somewhere else, but cannot recall where!)
