ENDURANCE GB (LEICESTERSHIRE & RUTLAND) th Provost Lodge Ride – Saturday 9 June 2018 Venue – Provost Lodge Farm, Glapthorn. Northants. PE8 5BH OS Landranger No. 141 Grid Reference 001910 There will be a charge of £1.00 for your bib, donated to the local Air Ambulance Venue opens at 9.00am Start times: 15 miles and 11 miles to start by 10.00am, 8 miles and 5 miles to start by 11.00am. No starters after 11.00am. All riders back by 2.30pm please Directions to Venue From A1 North Take A43 from Stamford, then as per other instructions From A1(M) South Take A605 from Junction 17. Follow signs for Oundle, turning right for Cotterstock just before Oundle, then to Glapthorne. Venue is on right about half a mile after the village. All Lorries Take A427 off A43 near Corby (signposted Oundle) Through Weldon and on to Upper Benefield. At Upper Benefield take left turn signed Glapthorn. Approx 1 mile before village is Provost Lodge Farm, up a long driveway immediately after a small wood. From Oundle Take A427 towards Corby and as above from Upper Benefield, taking the right turn to Glapthorn. Alternative route for towing vehicles ONLY (VERY narrow roads!!!) The venue can be accessed from A43 at Bulwick via Southwick and Glapthorne or from Deenethorpe (see your route maps) As this is a working farm all dogs will be kept leashed. Water for horses available at the venue We would ask all riders and crews to be thoughtful and courteous towards other crews, riders and local residents. Should complaints be received and upheld the rider/crew in question’s rider may be eliminated and future entries possibly refused. EMERGENCY TELEPHONE NUMBERS FOR USE ON DAY OF RIDE.
