Before it is installed, it will be Oct. 25 Sat. 10:00 AM Intention of Fr. Dominik & Fr. Schaeffer by Dr. Tom Krisztinicz consecrated and given the name “Miriam Teresa”, the first American Byzantine Ruthenian to be beatified. The other two bells are named “Theodore” and “Paul” for Blessed Theodore Romzha and Blessed Paul Gojdich two of our martyred bishops of Europe. Bells are consecrated in a rite that emulates baptism and chrismation. The bell is blessed with holy water and then anointed with sacred TWENTIETH SUNDAY AFTER PENTECOST Chrism that is used for the Sacrament of Confirmation/Chrismation. Blessed Miriam Teresa Demjanovich, the first American Byzantine Ruthenian Catholic to be beatified was beatified Saturday, October 4th at Sacred Heart Basilica, Newark, NJ.
