Bus Service Change Highlights Effective June 10, 2012

The Bus Service Change Highlights provides a summary of the upcoming service adjustments to the OCTA bus system. This service change will provide only minor schedule adjustments. Routes Affected The following routes will have minor route or schedule adjustments: 1, 29, 30, 33, 35, 37, 38, 42, 43, 46, 47, 50, 55, 56, 59, 64, 66, 71, 72, 83, 85, 87, 91, 129, 490, 758 and 794 News OC Fair Express returns for 2012. Thanks to grant funding from the MSRC, OCTA is able to bring the OC Fair Express direct bus service to the OC Fair back again this year. The special service will operate from seven different locations throughout Orange County, from July 13 – August 12 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Cost is only $1.50 regular fare each way, and for those customers who take the OC Fair Express to the OC Fair, they will receive a coupon for $2 admission into the fair. Prepaid OCLINK Passes: Beginning May 15, 2012 OCTA will no longer be offering the prepaid OCLINK passes for sale. Previously purchased prepaid OCLINK passes will continue to be honored until July 1, 2012. The weekday OCLINK pass provides you with unlimited rides on Metrolink trains and OCTA buses for only $7 per day. OCLINK passes will continue to be sold onboard OCTA buses and at Orange County Metrolink ticket vending machines. For more information, visit www.octa.net/oclink.

To provide additional customer service and/or relieve bus overloads, the following route and schedule changes have been made:

Route 29: Weekdays: To improve service between 8:00 pm and 10:00 pm, the 9:17 pm southbound trip was extended to begin at Beach & La Habra instead of the Buena Park Metrolink station.

Route Adjustment Ruta 42: All Days: Reroute off of Electric Avenue and onto Pacific Coast Highway in the City of Seal Beach.
