MUSIKEXPRESS 19.10.2009 – 18:00 Uhr Musikexpress feiert Style-Award-Jubiläum mit Mode-Special München (ots) - 16. Oktober 2009 Seit fünf Jahren ehrt der Musikexpress mit dem Style Award Modelabels, Musiker und Medien, die mit Stilbewusstsein und Mut zur Innovation die Popkultur vorantreiben. Zum Geburtstag gratuliert sich der Musikexpress mit einem Fashion-Special. Indierocker wie Beth Ditto spazieren über die Catwalks der Welt, Elektro-Acts wie Justice liefern den Soundtrack dazu. Madonna wirbt für Versace. Pete Doherty komponiert für Dior. Karl Lagerfelds Plattensammlung ist größer als so manche innerstädtische Tonträgerabteilung. Man sieht: Die symbiotischen Verflechtungen von aktueller Musik und aktueller Mode sind nicht länger zu leugnen. Der Musikexpress zollt dieser Entwicklung mit einem 30-seitigen "Style Special" in seiner Dezemberausgabe (jetzt am Kiosk) Rechnung. In dem Sonderteil stellt das Musikmagazin, das kürzlich seinen 40. Geburtstag feierte, die Gewinner des Musikexpress Style-Award 2009 vor. Das Special enthält unter anderem eine Modestrecke mit den Siegern in der Kategorie "Performer domestic" (die Berliner Newcomersensation Bonaparte) und "Performer international" (die britischen Elektropopper um Madonna-Produzent Stuart Price, Zoot Woman). Modemuffel haben allerdings nichts zu befürchten: Das "Style Special" geht nicht auf Kosten der Musikthemen. Das 164 Seiten starke Heft behandelt auf über 130 Seiten wie gewohnt alle relevanten Trends der aktuellen Musikszene, bespricht die Platten, auf die es im Herbst ankommt. Dazu gibt es zwei Geschichtsstunden: In zwei großen Dossiers erzählt das Magazin die Geschichte von Pearl Jam und der momentan wieder einmal größten Band des Planeten, der Beatles. Constanza Macras / Dorky Park Berlin
constanza macras / dorky park berlin Constanza Macras, geboren 1970 in Buenos Aires / Argentinien, absolvierte eine Tanzausbildung an der Margarita Bali Tanzschule und ein Studium für Modedesign an der Universität Buenos Aires. 1992 setzte sie ihre Ausbildung am New Yorker Merce Cunningham Studio fort. Anschließend arbeitete sie in Amsterdam, u.a. zusammen mit Ivan Kranmar, Glenn Eddy und Amanda Miller. Während dieser Zeit entstanden erste eigene Choreografien. Seit 1995 lebt und arbeitet sie als Performerin, Regisseurin und Choreografin in Berlin. 1997 grün- dete sie ihre eigene Tanzkompanie tamagotchi Y2K, heute DORKY PARK. Seither entwickelte Macras u.a. das mehrteilige Projekt „MIR – A love story“ (2000–02), „PORNOsotros“ (2002) und „Back to the Present“ (2003). Ich interessiere mich für die Arbeit mit unterschiedlich ausgebildeten Darstellern, ohne auf diese Unterschiedlichkeiten Rücksicht zu nehmen: Am Ende werden alle Darsteller zu Tänzern, Sängern und Schauspielern. Konzepte dienen meinen Arbeiten als Ausgangs- punkte, sind jedoch nicht Fokus. Es geht um die Vielschichtigkeit eines Themas und um des- sen Brechung durch die Einführung verschiedener Blickwinkel. So gibt es immer mehrere Publikumsbereiche, die oftmals mit den Aktionsräumen der Darsteller verschränkt sind. Ens encarem a dos eixos essencials per a la comprensió de l’hora actual o invoquem dues entelèquies, dues fantasmagories: hi ha un teatre europeu? És la frontera un concepte ineludible?
