Please, if anyone has a spare room and would be willing to offer hospitality to one or two guests for 5 nights, the Association Secretary would be most grateful to hear from you! The walkers are due to arrive on Tuesday 19th September (evening) and leave on Sunday 24th (morning). They go out walking every day from 9.00 a.m. to late afternoon, so all they need is an evening meal, a nice comfy bed, basic bathroom facilities and a simple Continental breakfast in the morning. They are always very friendly and appreciative of staying in homes because it enables them to learn about our culture and experience life as we live it. And we get the chance of sharing their way of life (lots of cheese and wine!) when we go back and visit them in their homes in Meriel next summer! If you could help with accommodation - or if you could invite one or two to an evening meal - please contact Association Secretary, Liz Morris e-mail: [email protected] or ring the Chairman, Bryn Davies on 01591 610633 or any member of the Twinning Association Committee.
