The Game Works with Triggers (Often with Objects) Which Means You Have Some Freedom in the Way You Progress First of all I need to explain some things about the game and the walkthrough: - the game works with triggers (often with objects) which means you have some freedom in the way you progress. I tried to pack the characters by location (but it wasn’t as easy as I thought so you might have some comings and goings to do between cities) but if you follow the “story” and see you got an item a character wants for example you can always diverge from the guide to bring it back sooner. - you can warp to another city if you talk to this guy: - the main goal of the game is to collect every collection card and that’s what this guide is focusing on, you’ll get scenes on your way but I’m not listing them nor describing them in any way (there are scat (lots), urination, vaginal/anal sex, etc.) Usually dialogues are pretty explicit themselves. - check everything to get money, furniture, trees, street lights, everything. You will need money and better be safe than sorry. I think not having enough money is the only way to get soft-locked in this game so be careful not to waste it (because you can buy a lot of things and most of them are useless). - I tried to be precise but just to be sure: as a general rule talk to characters until their dialogue loops. For example for some characters you have to talk a first time to show a text that’s always showing even if you already have the object to active the trigger, talk a second time to trigger a scene, talk a third time to activate another trigger, and then it loops. So talk again to a character when you get a scene from them just in case. - there are a few fights, most are easy but some require at least being full life so remember to heal after a fight. Now from the world map: - go to the first town straight ahead, follow the road until you see a small fast food/take out area with tables and stools on the left, go there and talk to the man on the left with a turban. he's a merchant and sell an “electric vibrator”, buy it then talk to Tifa and go back to the road - go east and enter the shop, there you can buy a “Shortcake” for later. (and every “Bento” you can) - go back and follow the road to the north, take the alley to your right, go between the building and the line of trees and follow the wall to King who will give you two cards after a short scene. - go back to the main road and continue north to the next part of the town (Sandy beach), there follow the road to the beach, turn left on the pavement to a small grassy area where a card collector wants to fight. Beat him to get a new card (very easy fight, hold "z" or “enter” to win). - you can now go to the beach, especially the right part, close to the sea. There you'll see Chun Li who is thirsty from her training. Luckily the thug you beat dropped Oolong tea that you can give to Chun Li to get a new card. - before getting off the beach go to the left to meet Karin, after that dialogue she goes to a secret beach (you can’t go there yet). - you can now go to Chun Li's house, the first house you can see when you walk off the beach. when you are inside take the stairs and talk to Chun Li, she needs an electric vibrator to shoot a video. give it to her and get a card after an event. - Cammy is now in the park next to ChunLi's house, if you talk to her she'll give you a quiz (answer is 1993) and two collection cards if you get it right. - now you can go to the second town, get to the world map then follow the road east then north. there, go right to the casino take the "exit" door in the staff room on the left to get to the strippers room and take the card on the table. (check every machine in the casino to get easy money) - get out and go north to the Gunpla shop, there buy 1/100 Wing Gundam, Winning Gundam and 1/144 Gundam 00 Diver. Talk twice to Nanami in the shop to trigger her event in the forest park. (- save and fight the man in the upper left corner to get two cards, to be honest I was lucky to beat him at that point and it was thanks to the 500 hp heals from the Bento but you can try. If you beat him you can heal full life from the item he drops. You can come back later if you can’t beat him or even skip him totally at that point.) - go back to the world map and go to the third town far east. there go south to the repair shop (building with a hammer sign) and talk to the man facing the wall, go back outside and follow the pavement east then south to the next area which is a park/forest, on the right from the entrance there is Laura who will give you a card. Talk to her again. - continue to the end south of the park/forest to Marbet who will give you two cards after a scene. - talk to Nanami just left from there to get a scene and two collection cards. - go back to the main area and enter the building (it's a shop) straight in front of you, open the chest on the table to get a Gunpla. - get out and then go north to the school area. - go left to the Men's dormitory area, follow the path and go to the left side of the building to search the trash and get a "Rose Buddy Magazine". - go back to the previous area and go east to the "Schoolyard/Dormitory area" and enter the first building ("gymnasium"), go to the right and take the collection card on the small table. - then go to the north wall and take the ladder, on the roof open the chest and get another collection card. - get out and enter the next building on the right, take the pickaxe (“Manhole opener”) on the right. - talk to Hoshino Fumina to give her the “Winning Gundam”, get a scene and two collection cards. - get out and go into the building just behind, in the right part of the room take the collection card on the desk. - talk to Shinoda Eri, she wants a special Gunpla and you got the one earlier from the chest in the shop, you get a scene and two collection cards. - then talk to the man in red to get an information about Kamiki Mirai, who is in a classroom on the school's third floor (you can go talk to her whenever you want to get a scene and two collection cards). - now you can go to the main building, the dormitory, be sure to check every piece of furniture in the rooms to get items you will sell later. - go straight to the stairs and enter the first room on the left, talk to Akira Tachibana, she wants the Rose Buddy Mag, give it to her and get two collections cards. - then go to the third floor and enter the spacious bedroom on the left, take the "Room 301 Key" from the left dresser. - then go to the bottom right room to get a "Badminton Drink". - get out and go back to the "gymnasium" furthest building on the left and give the drink to Nagisa Aragaki, she rewards you with a collection card, talk to her again so she can tell you she's going to the forest park. - go back in front of the school, enter the building and take the corridor on the right to talk to Yumeko and get a card. - go to the second floor and enter the classroom on the left, Takeharu Kiya gives you a quiz (answer "Yo Oizumi") and a card if you answer right. - now go to the classroom on the right and talk to Galko to get two cards after a scene. - go to the third floor, left room and get another card from Yumeko. - go to the room in the middle bottom and talk to Kamiki Mirai to get two collections cards. - go to the women’s toilet to talk to the “Mysterious Big Tits Slut Madam” and take the first choice (“Absent”). She’s actually here to give you advice about the game progression but you shouldn’t need it if you follow this guide, obviously. - go to the fourth floor, into the chairman's office and take the "Peter Rabbit Tea Set" on the table. - talk to her to give her the 1/100 Wing Gundam and get an attack card that you can equip. (- if you didn’t beat the guy in the Gunpla shop before this power upgrade should do the trick, you won’t even need to heal during the fight) - go to the balcony across the room, and interact with the second window (starting from the right) on the left, enter the room, open the chest to get a “Poyagan” and take the collection card on the table. - go back to the main part of town and enter the shop where you found the Gunpla earlier.

Adjustment Description Abilities granting invincibility or armor from the 1st frame, as well as low- risk or high-return moves invincible to throws have all been adjusted to have less effective throw invincibility. Alterations to V-Shift's Considering V-Shift's offensive and defensive capabilities, normal throws offensive/defensive should have enough impact to reliably handle V-Shifts, but characters with capabilities the invincible abilities mentioned above had an easy way to deal with throws and strikes. This gave their defense such a strong advantage that offensive opponents struggled against it. These adjustments seek to correct this issue. These general adjustments are a continuation of previous adjustments. Improvements to While V-Skills and V-Triggers have already been adjusted overall, players infrequently used V-Triggers tend to use one V-Skill and V-Trigger over the other, so we have further and V-Skills strengthened the techniques themselves and the moves that rely on their input. Some characters have been rebalanced in light of previous adjustments. We have buffed characters who were lacking in strength or who were Rebalancing of some largely left alone in previous adjustments. characters Characters with downward adjustments have not had their moves altered significantly; rather, the risks and returns of moves have been properly balanced. Balance Change Overview We've adjusted Nash's close-quarters attack, standing light kick, to yield more of an advantage on hit, and we have further improved Nash's impressive mid to long-distance combat. Standing light kick was previously adjusted to have faster start-up and to be easier to land, but we noticed that it didn't grant the same rewards as it did for other characters.

Virtual Spectating: Hearing Beyond the Video Arcade Norman Makoto Su Patrick C. Shih School of Information and Library Studies Department of Informatics University College Dublin University of California, Irvine Dublin 4, Ireland Irvine, CA 92697-9440 [email protected] [email protected] The latest in the most popular head-to-head fighting video series, Super Street Fighter IV by Capcom, now features spectating functionality. Coupled with audio chat, players can both watch and participate in matches with anyone in the world. We describe a video analysis of over 36 hours of gameplay in SSF4. Our results show that players can deftly structure audio when spectating to transform gameplay in SSF4. This new hybrid spectator sport in which boundaries between actor and audience are blurred exhibits three significant characteristics: the audio recreates the arcade culture, appropriates “invisible” but real players, and symbolically creates power relations between mute and speaking gamers. We also present exploratory evidence that suggests a starkly different experience for female gamers who wish to audibly join in virtual spectating. Spectating, Performing, Audio, Video games, Fighting games, Super Street Fighter IV 1. • Street Fighter V: It's About Capcom-Unity
Street Fighter V: It’s About Capcom-unity Sony and Capcom are set to take the fighting game community to the Promised Land. “Fighting games are dying.” It’s said time and again. With dwindling sales and a limited appeal compared to AAA games of other genres, many believe fighting games are on their deathbed. Yet despite their declining sales figures, fighting games have created one of the most passionate communities in all of gaming: the fighting game community. That, in no small part, is down to the success of Street Fighter. As Matthew Edwards [fighting games community manager for Capcom UK] states, “Street Fighter has been a mainstay of competitive gaming ever since Guile threw his first Sonic Boom.” Since Street Fighter II’s release in 1991 everything has changed. Now, fighting games are facing their biggest challenge to date. Low sales means less developers are willing to invest in fighting games and the genre could potentially end up as dead as the text adventure. At the same time, however, the fighting game community is in full bloom. As Justin Wong [professional fighting game player] states, “[The tournament scene] has grown substantially. Because of streaming and new technology, the numbers of tournament competitors and spectators has increased significantly.” While the games struggle to sell, the scene grows exponentially. Capcom fully understand that for Street Fighter V to succeed, they need to work with the fighting game community. “Capcom is committed to growing the community and giving the tournament players a real incentive to push the game further,” says Edwards.
