19 skied but I’d like to snowboard.

3 BETH: On an ethical basis? No.

7 question. We haven’t had rolling blackouts down
8 in that office, have we?
9 BETH: Not yet but we’re gonna have a backup
10 plan. We’re just talking about that. I’m
11 worried about the amount of power we have. I
12 don’t know that we have enough for 90 minutes.
13 RUGGLES: Yeah, I mean, you might go down and
14 get the batteries.
15 BETH: We have some.
16 RUGGLES: Some Duracells.
17 BETH: We have some. We need, actually, some
18 flashlights.
19 RUGGLES: And, um, also, there’s a, looking at a
20 co-gen type of feature. Roy puts out enough
21 (laughter and several people speaking at once).
22 BETH: Tell us something we don’t know.
23 ROY: And, that’s my favorite boss.

21 right now but I’m using all my reward miles.

23 Carmel again. Take a photographer and go up

12 up with this, man? You’re starting this whole
13 thing all over again. Setting up an office, how
14 many miles away?
15 RUGGLES: 17 hundred.
16 ROY: Damn.
17 RUGGLES: She hates it.
18 ROY: I’ll bet she does.
19 RUGGLES: Oh, man. She doesn’t like it. But
20 I’m not working up there all the time like I was
21 with you guys. I’m not living there.
22 ROY: What’s the deal, man? I thought you were
23 gonna be doing something else.

4 came home and after I got back I was so tired of
5 traveling, you know every weekend and stuff.

8 think when I got back, I just don’t want to go
9 to work ______. They hadn’t named a
10 successor. All I was doing was setting myself
11 up for the road. I said you’re gonna be up to 2
12 or three weeks of my life. Fuck that. I don’t
13 want to do that. So I said, I had to, you know,
14 change plans. I’m going into Origination on
15 March 1 but I’m going to do Product Development.
16 Um, more building the vacuum cleaners and then
17 I’ll let somebody else go out and sell them.
18 ROY: Okay.
19 RUGGLES: I’ll still be on the commercial side.
20 ROY: I got you.
21 RUGGLES: I’ll still be getting commercial bonus
22 but, you know, I won’t have to travel as much.
23 ROY: Well, that’s nice. That’s what you want.

13 RUGGLES: I’ve got my whopper loaded.

16 RUGGLES: Yeah, likewise. I gotta get out, I
17 gotta figure out a reason to get out there. We
18 got to go hang out and do some stuff. I can’t
19 believe I’m not living there any more. That was
20 a fun time.
21 ROY: It was. But it was tough on your
22 relationship, I’m sure.
23 RUGGLES: Oh, my god. The, yeah. Yeah it was.
