During spring, summer and autum there is parking space for maximum of two cars right next to the house. Please park your car close to the house, because a tractor has to pass twice a day.

If you are arriving with two big cars or with three cars please use the parking below the house at the driveway. Terrace Important Information

Hiking to Selbhorn Continue to (Hikers and climbers). Hinterthal Short distance hiking It is possible to hike (difficult to find to Königsee in the trail) . Hiking to the Jufen Alm (Restaurant and animal farm for the kids). Start behind the Accommodation and walk up the mountain Alm: Nice Panorama until you reach a cowshed. Walk to the dirt road and turn left to the Jufen Alm (approx.. 45 minutes). The road passes Juven and continues to Maria Alm (approx. 1 hour). cowshed From Maria Alm you can take a bus back to Hinterthal.

. An alternative route would be to continue Continue to Maria right instead of turning left and walk further Alm (1. hour). You up the mountain until you reach the Alm. can use a sled in From here it is possible to continue to winter. Hinterthal (difficult trail to find, please use a hiking map). Jufen Alm: Hike behind the house up to the cowshed. Then use the dirt road and turn left until you reach Jufen Alm. Nearby

Medium distance hiking

. In Summer there is a bus for hikers leaving in Hinterthal for Dienten and the Arturhaus in Arturhaus Mühlbach. The hike from Arturhaus to Hinterthal Erichhütte leads along the Hochkönig mountain an takes about three hours. From Erichhütte main road near Erichhütte it is possible to take a bus back. Filzensattel Hochmaisalm . Instead of taking the bus back, it is also possible to continue the hike to Hinterthal, Dientner Sattel what takes another three hours.

The hike starts at Hintermoos, Hintermoos about 5 kilometers away from the Accommodation and takes about three hours to the top of the mountain.
