CATÁLOGO DE LA OBRA DEL ARTISTA RYUICHI SAKAMOTO ANDRÉS ARMANDO ROJAS GALEANO UNIVERSIDAD DISTRITAL FRANCISCO JOSE DE CALDAS FACULTAD DE ARTES ASAB PROYECTO CURRICULAR DE ARTES MUSICALES CATÁLOGO DE LA OBRA DEL ARTISTA RYUICHI SAKAMOTO Andrés Armando Rojas Galeano Código: 20112098059 Énfasis en composición y arreglos Modalidad de Monografía Tutor: María del Pilar Agudelo Valencia CATÁLOGO DE LA OBRA DEL ARTISTA RYUICHI SAKAMOTO Bogotá, Abril 22 de 2016 3 Resumen: Este trabajo es un catálogo de la producción musical del artista japonés Ryuichi Sakamoto, basado en las normas internacionales de catalogación IASA (International Association of Sound and Audiovisual Archives). Para esto se realizó el ejercicio de escuchar toda su producción musical disponible en Internet, logrando clasificar 62 álbumes y 693 piezas musicales dentro de tres categorías diferentes que dividen la discografía y producción artística de Sakamoto. Además, se indagó en la producción extra musical del compositor, participando en actividades tan diversas como las artes visuales o el activismo por el medio ambiente. El texto está organizado en dos capítulos. El primero, que contiene la información biográfica sobre el artista, explica el ¿Por qué realizar un catálogo de Ryuichi Sakamoto? e incluye otros proyectos en los que el artista ha trabajo. El segundo capítulo describe el proceso de realización del catálogo, luego muestra una parte del mismo y finalmente se hacen observaciones que el catálogo arrojó. El objetivo principal de esta tesis es dar a conocer el trabajo musical de Ryuichi Sakamoto y dejar un soporte de su producción artística dentro del contexto académico en Colombia. Abstract: This work is a catalogue of the musical production by the Japanese artist Ryuichi Sakamoto, based on the International Association of Sound and Audiovisual Archives (IASA) cataloguing rules. -

Ensemble Modern Newsletter 2012/2 Nr. 36 1 Inhalt Index Dear friends of the Ensemble Modern, of the many interesting projects we are planning for Dietmar Wiesner the coming weeks and months, I am especially pleased in this newsletter to be able to tell you about the revival of the ›utp_‹ project at the invitation of the Ruhrtriennale. Our collaboration with their present director, Frankfurt composer and producer Heiner Goebbels, goes back over some decades. Since our first encounter in the year 1988 it has led to a number of compositions and music theatre productions. We have 2 performed these works over 200 times through out 4 Wer bin ich? 3 the world and they have created the basis for new Das Projekt ›Woher? Wohin? – Mythen, Nation, Identitäten‹ forms of music theatre for the Ensemble. One central Who am I? aspect of this cooperation is the so-called »try out« The project ›Where from? Un cop iniciada la seva carrera en solitari, ha sabut combinar la música per al cinema (amb Almodóvar, Stone, de Palma o Bertolucci) amb treballs innovadors al costat dʼartistes com David Bowie, David Byrne, Iggy Pop o els experimentals Christian Fennesz i Alva Noto. A Playing the piano, Sakamoto ens mostra projeccions espectaculars i dos pianos –un dʼacústic i un de MIDI- que li permet fer duets amb ell mateix. RYUICHI SAKAMOTO Ryuichi Sakamoto va néixer el 1952 a Tòquio (Japó). Va començar a estudiar composició musical de molt jove a la Universitat Nacional de Belles Arts i Música de Tòquio, on es va llicenciar i es va especialitzar en música electrònica i world music. El 1978 va formar el grup Yellow Magic Orchestra, amb Haroumi Hosono i Yukihiro Takahashi. El seu primer treball va aconseguir ser àlbum de platí i de seguida van assolir el reconeixement internacional. Durant anys van ser líders de lʼescena tecnopop, fins el 1982, quan es va disoldre el grup. Sakamoto, però, ha estat popular gràcies a la creació de bandes sonores de pel·lícules. La primera va ser Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence, de Nagisa Oshima (1983), en la qual també va participar com a actor juntament amb David Bowie. Després dʼaquest debut, va compondre la banda sonora dʼEl Últim Emperador, de Bernardo Bertolucci, treball que el va portar a assolir un èxit mundial, i pel qual li van concedir un Òscar, el Globus dʼOr i els Premis dels Crítics Cinematogràfics de Nova York, Los Ángeles i Britànics. -
