The rubrics that follow are – as in the Diocesan Typicon for this day prepared in past years - based on the service for August 9 published in the 1970 book “Saint Herman of Alaska.” The order of service for Dec. 13 this year is identical to that for 2012 and 2011 and described in the Diocesan Typicon for those years. (There is also a service of St Herman for the December 13 / 26 feast - different from the August 9 service - printed in the 1978 Slavonic menaion of the Moscow Partriarchate.
