Reader: O Heavenly King, the Comforter, the Spirit of Truth, Who art everywhere and fillest all things, Treasury of blessings, and Giver of Life, come and abide in us, and cleanse us from every impurity, and save our souls, O Good One. Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us! (3) Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen. They go in procession around the outside of the church (the feet of the Lord going first), while the choir continues to sing the processional Trisagion to the funeral melody as often as necessary. The Cross with the processional candles leads the procession, followed by the choir, the deacon or server with the incense, then the Winding-Sheet, and all the members of the congregation holding lighted candles. The procession goes once around the church, and as it returns to the interior of the church, the servers, those carrying the Winding-Sheet, and the priest go immediately before the ambon where they wait for the people to re-enter the church.
