HIS EXCELLENCY LIEUTENANT GENERAL SERETSE KHAMA IAN KHAMA, PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLC OF BOTSWANA Public Seal WHEREAS section 64 of the Constitution of Botswana provides for the appointment by the Judicial Service Commission of a Delimitation Commission; DR. ATHALIAH LESIBA MOLOKOMME, Custodian of the Public Seal. AND WHEREAS subsection (1) of section 65 of the Constitution provides that a Delimitation Commission shall as soon as practicable after its appointment submit to the President a report which shall state whether any alteration is necessary to the boundaries of the constituencies in order that the number of inhabitants of each constituency is as nearly equal to the population quota as is reasonably practicable;

AND WHEREAS subsection (4) of section 65 of the Constitution provides that the President shall, as soon as practicable after the submission of the report of the Delimitation Commission, by Proclamation published in the Gazette, declare the boundaries of the constituencies as delimited by the Commission;

AND WHEREAS a Delimitation Commission was duly appointed by the Judicial Service Commission on the 19th June, 2012;

AND WHEREAS the Delimitation Commission submitted to me, LIEUTENANT GENERAL SERETSE KHAMA IAN KHAMA, President of the Republic of Botswana, its report on 25th February, 2013;

NOW THEREFORE in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (4) of section 65 of the Constitution, I do hereby declare, proclaim and make known that the boundaries of the Constituencies of Botswana for the purpose of the election of Members of the National Assembly shall be delimited as described in the Schedule to this Proclamation;

AND this Proclamation shall come into force at the next dissolution of the National Assembly.

CHOBE thence north-westwards in a straight line to a point where the Buffalo Fence intersects with the Setata Veterinary Cordon Fence at Seokgwe Veterinary Camp, thence generally northwards in a Commencing at the intersection of the Linyanti/Chobe River with the North West and straight line to the confluence of Okavango, Nqoga and Moanachira rivers, being a point on the Chobe districts
