There are two things that will always stimulate interest in a property for sale, a good location and a testimonial about the location. That’s why we set out to photograph and interview the locals of Wimbledon Village, to find out just how special this part of London really was. We were not disappointed. Wimbledon Village was endorsed by all of those who live and work there. What better information to give a potential purchaser looking to move to the area?

WIMBLEDON VILLAGE

Now that I do live and work in Wimbledon I could not be happier. It really is a friendly place, where everything you need is right here in the village. For walkers, Wimbledon ‘Common offers so much, whatever the season. It’s both natural and unmanicured, yet bizarrely has a golf course running through it. I’ve walked for hours but still haven’t seen every part of it. However, and more importantly, there’s a feeling of community in the village, a sense of belonging. It’s not a transient place and people do care about it. ’

Chase Green are a dynamic and entrepreneurial young company building exciting new developments in North London and Hertfordshire. Both a new name and brand appearance was required and a simple icon, inspired by the regal Fleur de Lis and comprising three leaves was proposed and accepted. The original Fleur de Lis originated from French royalty in the 12th century and is an established symbol that conveys strength and power, an appropriate to represent a dependable developer. Berkhamsted is an attractive town to the north west of London. It boasts a picturesque canal running through it which further enhances its photogenic appearance. Due to this and the great popularity of the town, Chase New Homes decided to purchase land to the south east of Berkhamsted High Street. Research was undertaken and it transpired that Berkhamsted was where King William I (William the Conqueror) was given the official keys to Westminster Abbey, prior to his Coronation as King of England. Hence the development was called Royal Keys.

CASE HISTORY Implementing the idea Chase New Homes in Berkhamsted

Royal Keys, Berkhamsted required a vigorous and ubiquitous marketing campaign which had to be spearheaded by awareness. This would commence with a hoarding and stack board situated at the north west end of the site to engage drivers leaving the High Street in the direction of London. The visuals to the left were created prior to the finalisation of both the new name and logo for Chase New Homes. The colour scheme throughout is that of the Royal Keys development as is the reference to the Bayeux Tapestry which illustrates the Norman Invasion.

Instant recognition for your company Why a logo is so important

A company will stand or fall by its logo. It carries with it the responsibility of representing the image of the organisation through the interpretation of shape, colour and font. It should encapsulate as many redeeming factors as possible, as well as having the ability to be remembered, recognised and instantly associated.
