It does not include short term rental or lease and does not include the address of a relative or carer, unless they have legal custody of the child. Medical and/or Social Reasons: Medical reasons must be supported by written medical evidence. The evidence should come from at least two registered health professionals. An application being made for social reasons must be supported by written evidence from registered professionals such as social workers or other social care professionals. Medical or social applications must set out the particular reasons why Archbishop Tenison’s is the most suitable school and what difficulties would occur if the child had to go elsewhere. Any such applications will be considered objectively by the Admissions Committee of the school based on the evidence provided. Application under these criteria does not guarantee a priority place and cannot be considered without the appropriate supporting evidence. Distance: Distance is taken as proximity from the home address to the school. It is measured using the shortest walking route, from the front door of the home address (as identified by mapping software) to the student entrance of the school on Kennington Oval. Distance measurements are calculated by using industry standard software widely used throughout the UK by many admission authorities. It is based on Ordnance Survey mapping. COGNITIVE ABILITIES TEST (CAT) ARRANGEMENTS: Archbishop Tenison’s School shares Admission Test arrangements with the following schools: Dunraven, Lambeth Academy, La Retraite, Lilian Baylis, London Nautical, Norwood, Platanos College and St Martin- in-the-Fields. All nine schools hold the same admission test on the same day – Saturday 9th November 2019. We aim, in this way, to limit the number of tests children are required to sit. Your child must only sit the test ONCE, at ONE school. Please tick only ONE box on the form indicating where you would like your child to sit the test. Please note you must apply to the school directly in order to sit the Admission Test at that school. If you fail to submit an application direct to the school at which you wish to sit the test, your child may miss the Admission Test day. Once the rest results are known, the admission departments collaborate in sharing the test scores. It is important that your child sits the test once, at one school only. The application of any child who sits two tests is deemed to be invalid at both schools. Access and Test Day Arrangements: If your child has any health problems, special educational needs or difficulties regarding gaining access to our buildings that we would need to be aware of for an Admission Test, please let the school know in advance so that we are able to make any necessary arrangements to help your child (e.g. epilepsy, hearing or sight problems, mobility issues, dyslexia or any other relevant needs). We are unable to provide any additional time for the test, but will provide what support is reasonable within the examination conditions. 3 .

These four schools have worked hard to raise the achievement of all pupils in their schools and have been recognised as providing an outstanding education. This research focuses on the successful strategies that these schools have used to raise achievement. In Lambeth there is a continuing picture of improving schools. The case study schools studied in this report defy the association of poverty and low outcomes and they enable such young people to succeed against the odds. The attainment of all pupils has been exceptionally high. • About 82% of the pupils in the case study schools achieve 5+ A*-C. • The improvement rate of pupils in the case study schools is also impressive. • Between 2000 and 2009 pupils in all case study schools improved from 33 % to 82% 5+ A*-C . This is an improvement rate of 49% compared to 21% at national level. • In one case study school GCSE results improved from 11% in 2000 to 73% 5+A*-C in 2009. This is despite the fact that 72% of the pupils were on free school meals which is used as proxy for levels of disadvantage. In another school GCSE improved from 56% to 93% 5+A*-C between the same period.

THE STOCKWELL PARK HIGH SCHOOL MAGAZINE DETERMINATION After coming seventh in the National Schools Basketball Championships UK Finals 2010 for Under 15s competition at Nottingham, the Stockwell Park High School Basketball Team qualified for another final at Nottingham, this time the U14s finals. Record GSCE results Our pupils achieved record examination results last year! In the previous tournament, the Stockwell Park High School Team were at a disadvantage because they were playing older pupils. The 70% of our pupils achieved top grades at GCSE (and equivalent), team arrived in Nottingham on Thursday evening and settled quickly, including English and Maths. unpacked their bags and suitcases.
