Cards and tokens t u k a 87 u. J 6.0 in english AIRPACK 2D FOREWORDS I will not present the Air Pack, the famous expansion of Memory 44. This 2D adaptation of the Air Pack is the consequence of several problems: - The shortage of an extension that is no longer published; although the rules book and scenarios are available in pdf format in the DoW online store. - The Air Pack contains 8 planes of 5 Nations; Italy and France are excluded, as well as Poland, Romania, Finland, Belgium, the Netherlands and Yugoslavia, which also had national aircraft. - The figures of the Air Pack do not have a single scale and no manufacturer offers all planes. - Several players regret the absence of iconic aircraft, starting with the "Stuka" (1). This finding does, remains to find a reproducible solution, customizable and compatible in size and aesthetics with the existing hardware. The Air Pack extension with its model aircraft no longer available, here is a practical alternative, robust and economical. This 2D adaptation takes again the airplanes of Air Pack and proposes 8 new ones. These are 8 planes from the beginning of the war, including the famous "Stuka". However, you can make it yourself and customize your parts. The graphic representation proposed is inspired by the aerial combat game published in Vae Victis: « Le grand Cirque ». I.     Bf-110 Messerschmitt

    Bf-110 Messerschmitt The Messerschmitt Bf-110 was designed as a “heavy fighter” intended to escort bombers on long–range missions that were beyond reach of escorting fighters. The Bf-110 was however incapable of defending itself against most contemporary fighters in WWII so the aircraft was adapted for use in many roles including fighter bomber, reconnaissance, light transport and finally as a night fighter in defense of the Reich during the later stages of WWII. The Bf-110 was used throughout the war but served a unique role in one of the most unusual stories from WWII. On May 10, 1941 Deputy Fuhrer of the German Reich, Rudolf Hess piloted a BF-110 for a clandestine flight to the England with the apparent intention of negotiating a separate peace treaty with England. Hess parachuted from his Messerschmitt Bf- 110 and landed in the English countryside while the airplane flew on to crash in Scotland. Fragments of the airplane were recovered, and markings were determined after a close inspection of photographs of the crash site. Rudolf Hess was never had a chance to begin negotiations since any knowledge of the flight was denied by Adolf Hitler and Deputy Fuhrher Hess was condemned by the German government as having gone mad. Hess served the duration of WWII in an English POW camp and after the war stood trial at the Nurnberg War Crimes trials. Having been convicted of war crimes, Hess spent the rest of his life in Spandau Prison. He gives an overview about most frequently used aircraft and their tactical-technical features. The article demonstrates that the close air support is one of the most important components of the tactics success and it was since the appearance of the aerial warfare. Rezümé A szerző ismerteti a lényegét a második világháborús Luftwaffe közvetlen légi támogatási doktrínájának, a végrehajtásért felelős szervezetnek és a légi vezetési és irányítási rendszernek. A szerző áttekinti a leggyakrabban alkalmazott fegyver- rendszereket, csata és bombázó repülőgépeket, valamint azok jellemzőit.
