FOX SPORTS SAN DIEGO, ANNOUNCE 2015 TELEVISION SCHEDULE

San Diego – FOX Sports San Diego (FSSD) and the San Diego Padres today announced a 162-game television schedule* for the 2015 season. Each regular season game on FSSD will be accompanied by Padres Live pregame and/or postgame shows. In addition, FOX Sports San Diego plans to produce 125 Padres games live in Spanish.

FOX Sports San Diego’s regular season coverage begins Monday, April 6, with the Padres season opener against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Coverage will begin at 11:00 AM PST with Padres Social Hour followed by an hour long Padres Live pregame show from Dodger Stadium leading into the game. Coverage concludes with a half-hour Padres Live postgame show.

A special one-hour Padres Season Preview show will debut at 10:00 PM PST on Friday, March 20 following the San Diego Padres vs. Kansas City Royals game.

Hall of Fame broadcaster and 2015 Ford C. Frick Award recipient Dick Enberg and former Padres starting Mark Grant will return to the broadcast booth providing play-by-play and color commentary during most live games alongside returning sideline reporter, Kris Budden. Padres Social Hour host Jesse Agler will fill in as play-by-play announcer during the 2015 season. Padres Live host Mike Pomeranz and Padres Live analyst Mark Sweeney will return to provide pre-and postgame coverage on FOX Sports San Diego. As announced earlier this year, Ally Sturm joins the 2015 broadcast team as host of Padres POV, FSSD’s weekly behind-the-scenes show airing Friday’s throughout the season, and occasional sideline reporter.

New this season, MLB veteran Steve Finley and former Padres starter, Clay Hensley will assume the occasional role of analyst for Padres Live pre-and postgame shows.

Finley, a five-time Gold Glove Award winner and 2001 World Series champion, was a major fixture in the Padres outfield from 1994-98 and served as an integral part of the 1998 NL Champion Padres.

Hensley, a former MLB pitcher, was drafted by the in 2012 and made 29 starts for the San Diego Padres in 2006.

Additionally, FOX Sports San Diego will produce 125 San Diego Padres games live in Spanish. Returning to the booth for FOX Deportes San Diego will be long-time Spanish-language voice of the Padres Eduardo Ortega and former Padres catcher Carlos Hernandez.

The schedule will include nearly all Padres home games, as well as various Padres road games, beginning with the regular season home opener on Thursday, April 9. Spanish telecasts will be available on FOX Deportes San Diego throughout San Diego on Cox and Time Warner Cable. Games will also be available in Las Vegas on Cox.
