Born in Dayton, Steinmann joins the Lugnuts after three straight Tuesday: 3-1 seasons assigned to manage Double-A Midland (though the 2020 season was canceled). Steinmann previously managed against the Lugnuts Wednesday: 1-2 with Wisconsin (2005), Clinton (2009, 2014-15) and Beloit (2017).
