ACTIVITIES The project provides assistance to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, local tourist organizations, and business support service providers, as well as municipal governments to stimulate private sector growth. The project is: Strengthening the competitiveness of the tourism sector It is promoting the north as a tourist destination by supporting innovative service providers, building the region’s capacity to support tourism, assisting coordination with coastal tourism businesses, and expanding access to tourist information. Improving the viability of agriculture and agribusiness It is restoring agriculture as a viable economic activity by supporting agricultural producers and processors from the north to capitalize on market trends and generate more income. Bettering the business-enabling environment It is identifying barriers to doing business and assisting municipalities to execute plans to lower these obstacles by providing services and targeted investment. GENS VLACHORUM in HISTORIA SERBORUMQUE SLAVORUM (Vlachs in the History of the Serbs and Slavs)
ПЕТАР Б. БОГУНОВИЋ УДК 94(497.11) Нови Сад Оригиналан научни рад Република Србија Примљен: 21.01.2018 Одобрен: 23.02.2018 Страна: 577-600 GENS VLACHORUM IN HISTORIA SERBORUMQUE SLAVORUM (Vlachs in the History of the Serbs and Slavs) Part 1 Summary: This article deals with the issue of the term Vlach, that is, its genesis, dis- persion through history and geographical distribution. Also, the article tries to throw a little more light on this notion, through a multidisciplinary view on the part of the population that has been named Vlachs in the past or present. The goal is to create an image of what they really are, and what they have never been, through a specific chronological historical overview of data related to the Vlachs. Thus, it allows the reader to understand, through the facts presented here, the misconceptions that are related to this term in the historiographic literature. Key words: Vlachs, Morlachs, Serbs, Slavs, Wallachia, Moldavia, Romanian Orthodox Church The terms »Vlach«1, or later, »Morlach«2, does not represent the nationality, that is, they have never represented it throughout the history, because both of this terms exclusively refer to the members of Serbian nation, in the Serbian ethnic area. –––––––––––– [email protected] 1 Serbian (Cyrillic script): влах. »Now in answer to all these frivolous assertions, it is sufficient to observe, that our Morlacchi are called Vlassi, that is, noble or potent, for the same reason that the body of the nation is called Slavi, which means glorious; that the word Vlah has nothing -
Montenegro 2020 Human Rights Report
MONTENEGRO 2020 HUMAN RIGHTS REPORT EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Montenegro is a mixed parliamentary and presidential republic with a multiparty political system. Voters choose both the president and the unicameral parliament through popular elections. The president nominates, and the parliament approves, the prime minister. An observation mission of the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe stated that the August 30 parliamentary elections were overall transparent and efficient, but highlighted that the ruling party gained an undue advantage through misuse of office and state resources and dominant media coverage, which undermined the quality of information available to voters. Milo Djukanovic, president of the Democratic Party of Socialists was elected president in 2018 with nearly 54 percent of the vote in the first round for his second term as president. He had already served six terms as prime minister. Observers from ODIHR, the European Parliament, and the Council of Europe’s Parliamentary Assembly noted the election proceeded in an orderly manner but had minor irregularities that did not affect the outcome. Despite opposition protests, elections were generally considered free and fair. The National Police Force, which includes Border Police, is responsible for maintaining internal security. They are organized under the Police Administration, which is independent from the Ministry of Interior and report to the police director and, through him, to the prime minister. The Armed Forces of Montenegro are responsible for external security and consist of an army, navy, and air force that are overseen by the Ministry of Defense. Civilian authorities maintained effective control over the security forces. -

Just and hour’s drive from Podgorica makes a world of difference climate here is much colder while the forests around the town generate a pleasant cool breeze. The hottest summer days are easy to bear, while in the winter there is plenty of snow of the mountains. Just staying in this area it provides all the benefits of air spa. The mountain climate, altitude and clear air, with a healthy natural food, guarantee refreshments and recovery. Disregarding its potential, Kolasin is still just a small mountain town whose sleepy atmosphere is broken only by lively cafe life in which tourists, skiers and mountaineers mingle with the locals. Staying can satisfy the tastes and needs of young and old, those who want serenity and those drawn by the magic of adventure and excitement. Fans of winter spells and snow sport are welcome in Jezerine ski center with 15 kilometers of trails for comfortable skiing for day and night as they are illuminated by flood lights. For those who are moderate, the choice of walking tours is almost endless, just as for ambitious and challenging hiking ventures. -
Vlasi I Starobalkanska Pretkršćanska Simbolika Jelena Na Stećcima
