Study Ecumenical Church Music in Banat
Study Ecumenical church music in Banat elaborated within the project RORS 35: Religious music – Establishment of Cross-border Touristic Routes Elaborated by Politea Association Coordinated by dr. Bakk Miklos Project title: Religious music – Establishment of Cross-border Touristic Routes – RORS 35 Material editor: Reformed Center Timișoara Publishing date: February 2018 The content of this material does not necessarily represent the official position of the European Union. In case of any complaints, contact: [email protected] www.romania-serbia.net 0 Study Ecumenical ecclesial music in Banat The well-known researcher of the Central and Eastern Europe's musical life, Dr. Franz Metz, stated in a paper published in Beograd in 2000 that church music in this part of Europe is still at the beginning of the third millennium, a white tab of the history of European music, and lists a few elements that contributed to this state of affairs. In fact, ecclesiastical music was something that was tolerated in the time of communism, and there was no support for research, for data gathering sometimes endangered. This situation is more than sad, it is even tragic, if we consider the volume published in 1858, entitled "Banater Liederbuch", that is, Banat Book of Songs, more precisely its preface, which states that there is no other place on the earth with so many languages and dialects, Banat being a place where different languages and cultures influence one another. We find cultures such as Romanian, German, Hungarian, Serbian, Czech, Croatian, Bulgarian, Slovak, and Yiddish before the totalitarian era, each of which has a strong component of church music. -

THE CROATS IN VOJVODINA VIII. JURIDICAL SITUATION OF CROATS IN VOJVODINA IX. VIOLATION OF HUMAN CIVIL AND COLLECTIVE RIGHTS EX SFR Yugoslavia ~F_. HUNGARY. ROMANIA Belgrade CROATS IN BACKA, SRIJEM AND BANAT (VOJVODINA) POSITION OF CROATS IN VOJVODINA REGARDING THEIR CULTURAL, POLITICAL, AND OTHER FUNDAMENTAL AND HUMAN RIGHTS Introduction As a result of the Croats in Vojvodina being deprived of their rights and the assimilatory policies which have calculatedly been implemented for over 70 years, the Croatian population has constantly been in decline. The war against Croatia and the destruction the war has caused directly reflect upon the status of Croats in Vojvodina. All too often they are insulted and taunted. They are attacked through public media, the Croatian media are blocked, they are mistreated by Serbian government authorities and rendered powerless in all areas of public life. Croatian cultural and historic monuments are being destroyed (Baa, Subotica, among others), and Croatian homes in Novi Slankamen have been blasted by machine gun fire, besides a whole line of similar occurrences. With that kind of politics, Serbia, especially after the cessation of the constitutional autonomy of Vojvodina, would like to destroy the will of the Croats to live in the areas of Barka, Banat, and Srijem, where Croats had already been living for thirteen hundred years. -
Effect of Organic Production on Soil Structure
1168 Bulgarian Journal of Agricultural Science, 20 (No 5) 2014, 1168-1174 Agricultural Academy EFFECT OF ORGANIC PRODUCTION ON SOIL STRUCTURE Lj. NESIC*, M. BELIC, L. SAVIN, V. CIRIC, M. STEFANOVCIC and M. MANOJLOVIC University of Novi Sad, Department of Field and Vegetable Crops, Faculty of Agriculture, 21000 Novi Sad, Serbia Abstract NESIC, Lj., M. BELIC, L. SAVIN, V. CIRIC, M. STEFANOVCIC and M. MANOJLOVIC, 2014. Effect of organic production on soil structure. Bulg. J. Agric. Sci., 20: 1168-1174 Organic agriculture is a production system, which avoids the use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, growth regulators, and additives and relies on natural principles that contribute to the growth, development, and health of plants. Its aim is safe production of quality produce and maintenance and improvement of the sanitary condition and quality of soil and the environ- ment. Soil structure is most important among the physical soil properties due to its large impact on the water, air and thermal status, chemical and biological properties of the soil, soil tilth and the growth of plant roots. It is an indicator of soil fertility and productivity. The objective of this study was to determine the contribution of organic agriculture to soil structure improvement by comparing soil structure indicators from organic farms and conventionally tilled production plots. The study was conduct- ed in Vojvodina Province, Serbia. Organic farms in 8 locations (Kelebija, Orom, Pančevo, Crepaja, Bajmok, Ljutovo, Totovo Selo, and Kisač) were compared against Rimski Šančevi experiment station in which the conventional soil tillage system has been employed for several decades. Soil samples were collected from soil depth of 0-30 cm. -

NOTICE for Passengers Travelling Through Hungary
NOTICE for passengers travelling through Hungary Hungarian authorities pay special attention to reducing border wait times for transit traffic in the summer tourism-season every year. According to experiences of the past few years, the majority of the passengers choose border crossing points lying on main traffic routes. As the result , traffic exceeds the normal capacity of the border-crossing point, while other border stations - lying just a few kilometres away – operate with far less passengers. We call the attention of passengers to the fact that even in spite of the best endeavours of the Hungarian authorities, waiting times may increase to several hours at the border crossing points. In these circumstances, the Hungarian police are entitled to direct some of the travellers to other border crossing points. The summer heat can make waiting at the border crossing points very exhausting, that’s why we suggest that travellers should be supplied with enough drinks. In order to avoid traffic jams at the border crossing points, we suggest taking the following alternative routes. For passengers travelling in the direction of Serbia At the Hungarian-Serbian border, we suggest choosing the following border crossing points instead of the Röszke - Horgoš station. 1. Tompa - Kelebija station. Operates 24 hours a day, with a two-lane road in every direction for automobiles, and the possibility of a quick connection to the E-75 international road after Subotica. The Tompa - Kelebija station can be approached via the following route: M5 highway – road No. 54 – Soltvadkert – road No. 53 – Kiskunhalas – Tompa. 2. Bácsalmás - Bajmok station. Open from 8.00 till 18.00 (from 07.00 till 19.00 after the Hungarian-Serbian border traffic agreement is ratified from the Serbian part), with a two-lane road in every direction for automobiles, and the possibility of a quick connection to the E-75 international road after Subotica.
