The roof ceiling, walls, paints, glass doors etc. should be maintained properly during the installation. 4) If any damages happen, then it is the responsibility of the bidder to handover the installation/premises etc. in the earlier good condition at their risks and costs. 5) During the installation or execution of work, the bidder should not disturb electrical and LAN cabling etc. 6) After successful installation and testing, vendor has to impart the training to the nominated staff of the respective office/s to operate the equipment/ NVR. After completion of warranty, the vendor has to provide 3 years comprehensive AMC at the agreed rate. 8) The prices quoted in the Price Bid should be inclusive of all materials, labour, tools and equipment and necessary management for completion of the work. 9) The vendor shall be responsible for the functioning of the CCTV system according to the laid down Specification, Terms & Conditions mentioned in the Tender Document. 10)All products/items must be having certifications as specified in the technical specifications. 11)After completion of the work the vendor should train the LIC employees regarding the operation and other issues related to the operation. 5. Pre-Bid Meeting : Pre bid meeting will be held on 12.07.2017 at 11-30 A.M., at the Conference Hall, 2nd floor, Kharagpur Divisional Office, Jeevan Prakash, Jeevan Bima Sarani, Malancha, Kharagpur, P.O. Nimpura, Dist. West Midnapore, West Bengal, PIN : 721304. One representative of proposed bidder may participate in the Pre-bid meeting . The Corporation reserves the right to change the technical specifications after the Pre-Bid meeting. The clarifications/ modifications, if any, given by the corporation after pre-bid meeting shall become part of the original tender. Any modification will be uploaded on our website www.licindia.in/Tender only. A demonstration may be required to be given by the tenderers who qualify in Technical Bid. 6. Opening of Tenders : Technical Bid will be opened at 11:00 Hours, on 26.07.2017. The tenderer or his representative may be present at the time of opening of the Technical Bid. No separate intimation will be sent in this regard to the Bidders for deputing their representatives. The Technical Bids will be opened at the time and date stipulated above irrespective of the number of Tenderer or their representatives present. The Price Bids of those Bidders who technically qualify (to be determined by the Committee) will only be opened. Basic training for selected volunteers(@10 for each Block and @5 for Each GP) have also been started for strengthening the Disaster Management group at each level.A group of 20 nos of Disaster Management volunteers in our district have also been provided modern divers training at Kalyani.

Since, NTO came with the regulation where customer was provided option to choose their own choice of channel or bouquet which they were not in habituation. Thus, we recommend a fix capping of discount of 50% instead of 15%. The customer who are opting for individual alacarte channels are slowly migrating to bouquets where customer is getting almost all the channels of different genres of a broadcaster within their affordability. Subhendu Bikash Maity (Department of Geography, Tamralipta Mahavidyalaya, Tamluk, Purba Medinipur, W.B., India) ABSTRACT : The Totos and Auto-rickshaws are plying arbitrarily in Tamluk Town. It is noted that rickshaw-pullers are facing decrease of their income at an alarming rate. Objectives: i) to study public transport in the town; ii) to study population load over the town during day time; iii) to study causes of decreasing income among rickshaw pullers; and iv) to provide suggestions for stabilizing public transporting system. Methodology: Ten rickshaw-pullers have been interviewed in different rickshaw stands. Population load over the town has been measured by counting people exit from buses in 10 bus stops for 40 minutes in office hours and rail passengers are counted at the exit of rail stations. Findings: Rickshaw pullers have lost 75% of their daily income. Suggestions: Authority may create fare chart to control the fair. Informal sector on public transporting may require rigorous monitoring. A policy may require to upgrade rickshaw pullers to Toto driver.
