The players faced a very tough and talented Taylor team, but we are so proud of the way our players competed. They never gave in and played as hard as they could to the end. Monique Ybarra won both her matches. The combination of Monique and Camryn Lupo won the the girls' No. 1 doubles match 6-1, 6-1. We held tough in most of the matches, including four matches that went to a third-set tiebreaker, but just fell short in each one of those. The Palestine Tennis Team thanks everyone for the support this fall and we will get back to work in preparation for our spring season. We came up short, but very proud of the effort the girls gave (26-24, 15-25, 25-23, 22-25, 12-15). We will be playing in the Groesbeck tournament this Friday and Saturday! Some got really creative. Junior High Cross Country had a great season this year. Our Boy’s won the District Meet with 8 out of the TOP 10 runners being from Palestine.
