The players faced a very tough and talented Taylor team, but we are so proud of the way our players competed. They never gave in and played as hard as they could to the end. Monique Ybarra won both her matches. The combination of Monique and Camryn Lupo won the the girls' No. 1 doubles match 6-1, 6-1. that went to a third-set tiebreaker, but just fell short in each one of those. The Palestine Tennis Team thanks everyone for the support this fall and we will get back to work in preparation for our spring season. The Ladycats hosted Alba-Golden Tuesday night. The JVB team fought hard in a 3 game match, but came up short (25 -20, 21-25, 23-25). Our JVA team wonHOMECOMING in exciting fashion coming from behind 2017 in the 3rd set to win (15-25, 25-16, 25-20)! Our varsity girls showed heart and fight in their 5 game match with Alba-Golden. We came up short, but very proud of the effort the girls gave (26-24, 15-25, 25-23, 22-25, 12-15). We will be playing in the Groesbeck tournament this Friday and Saturday!

Junior High Cross Country had a great season this year. Our Boy’s won the District Meet with 8 out of the TOP 10 runners being from Palestine. JH Cross Country Girls’ brought home 2nd place in the District Meet. We are so incredibly proud of our kids.
