After 7:45 a.m., we find replacements as needed, in order to provide time to practice. CHAPEL NOTES With the rain and cooler weather this week, it almost feels like fall - almost! At All Saints, the fall schedule is definitely a busy one! I hope everyone is getting into the rhythm of the chapel schedule. Students in grades PS-MS gather for worship each morning at 8:00am in Jones Gym. High School gathers for chapel at 9:35am on blue days in Kirby Commons. Gathering together, we pray for each other, the world, and grow closer to God through His Word.

Each year, at the beginning of school, I have one request: When we experience chapel together, it is a special time. The prayer, the music, the community, and most importantly, the Holy Spirit transform our space into a sacred space. During our worship services, I ask all parents and visitors to refrain from bringing food or (including coffee) into Jones Gym or Kirby Commons. Remember to turn all cell phones to vibrate. And if your children sit with you, follow along with them in a Hymnal and a Book of Common Prayer. Thank you for your attention to this request! God’s blessings to each of you as we move into Fall. It is a great time to be a part of God’s creation, as we watch it transform before us daily!

Peace, Chaplain Paige+

PATRIOT SPOTLIGHT - ALUMS RETURN TO THEIR ROOTS 2016 Inaugural graduates Michael Sharp and Mitchell Davidson return to the All Saints campus with a whistle in hand and a whole new perspective. Texas Tech students, college roommates, friends, and now All Saints coaching col- leagues, these two young men feel right at home at All Saints.

“We are very excited to welcome Michael Sharp and Mitchell Davidson back to the All Saints Athletic Family,” shares Athletic Director Robert Brashear, “along with Jeremy Binion and Morgan Gray. We have been very fortunate over the past several years to be able to hire young people who aspire to be- come coaches and educators to assist us with our Patriot athletes in both Middle School and High School. All of the young people we have hired in the past have gone directly to UIL head coaching positions upon completion of their degrees at Texas Tech, and their time at All Saints. For Michael and Mitchell it is special because they are former All Saints athletes returning to their school and athletic program to give back to the next generation. We are lucky to have all four of our new coaching additions.”

They will host Amarillo St. Andrews this Thursday at 4:00 pm on the All Saints Field.

Cross Country Middle School Cross Country has run twice this season and had great success each time out. The season opened on August 25 at the LCU Rust Buster Relays where the relay team of Lee Taylor and Luke Rushing won first place. The boys were third place overall as a team. The girls were paced by the relay team of Emeri Tran and Ellis Fox who combined to finish 5th. The MS runners ran on Saturday, September 1 at the Plainview ISD Invitational and were led by eighth grader Lee Taylor who won the boys middle school division. The middle school cross country teams will be in action again this weekend at the Plains Invita- tional in Plains.
