Officially 10 days long. Some had 5, or even no holiday. Women had longer holiday.

Over 20% of all participated in Thingyan. Like the Buddhist country that it is, people also visit monasteries / meditation center. Nearly 20% had domestic trips. No travel abroad yet.

Many went to the north escaping from the heat in April. Bagan, famous for Buddhist ruins in the Mandalay District, and Pyin Oo Lwin, the summer resort of the plateau, are popular.

瞑想親分かる僧提供思う Made a trip to my home town for good deeds. A 自分精進元日妹 historic place, but weak of the religious 作る consciousness. Made offerings for my elderly 悪い弟良い供える parents and 10 relatives.
