Hemet Unified Nutrition Services Department and SAFE Expanded Learning Program has teamed up to provide a Cooking Club. This is a fun and delicious learning activity for HUSD families. The Cabrillo Civic Club of California is offering scholarships to Hemet High School seniors that are of Portuguese descent. The intent of the donors of this scholarship is to assist students of Portuguese descent who have a desire to secure a higher education. Awards are given to students based on GPA, Leadership, Extra Curricular Activities and other qualifications. Attention Seniors: The Hemet Unified School District Governing Board Scholarship is now open to all seniors attending HUSD schools. The Riverside County Sheriff's Association is offering TWO scholarship opportunities that range from $1000-$2500 awards to Hemet High School seniors: 1. The Riverside County Deputy Sheriff Relief Foundation Scholarship is open to ALL Hemet High School seniors who plan to attend either a 4 year college/university or 2 year college/voc-tech/trade school. 2. The Riverside Sheriff's Association Memorial Scholarship is open to DEPENDENTS of someone who belongs to the Riverside Sheriff's Association.
