Hemet High School December 4, 2019 Hemet High School and Community Pantry are hosting a canned food drive for the Holidays. All donations will be accepted until Friday, December 13th. Do your part by helping our surrounding community and families. There will be a competition between all 3rd period classes to see who gets the most donations. 1st Place is a Breakfast Burrito Party! The Gregg Figgins Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1500 is being offered to graduating seniors in the Hemet-San Jacinto Valley. Please see Mrs. Daniels in the Counseling office for more information. The United Cultures Club is organizing a donation drive for our local animal shelter. If you have old blankets or towels, or any other items you could donate (dog or cat toys, water, soap, etc.), please bring them to room 505 (Madame Connell's classroom) at any time. You can bring your donations until December 20th! A list of donations will be posted around campus or in some classrooms. Thank you! Please partner with Student Leadership and United Way to donate toys for this year’s toy drive! All toys must be brand new and will be donated to children in the Hemet and San Jacinto communities. The Toy Drive box is located in the library and ends Thursday, December 12th. Thank you for your generosity during this Holiday season! Current work permits expire January 10th. Please be sure to pick up a new work permit application before Winter Break so you can work on getting it signed by your employer. Don't delay, as processing time can be up to 48 hours when renewing your work permit application. Attention ALL Hemet High Students- NOTE that there will be NO Saturday School on December 7th.
