UPDATE ON PERFORMANCE AND ENFORCEMENT MATTERS

1.0 Purpose of Report

1.1 To inform Committee of the activity and performance of the licensing team between 1 January and 30 June 2020 inclusive and to provide Members with details of current going enforcement issues.

2.0 Background

2.1 This report covers the period from 1 January and 30th June 2020 inclusive and sets out the range and number of licence applications during this period. It also highlights any activity required as a result of the applications.

The Wheatsheaf Inn Police had two jobs 15.4.2020 Upon arrival there were 8 people in Public House phoned in where it the garden drinking alcohol. The Reindeer Inn Police report 20 17.5.2020 LEO investigated and found that the Public House people drinking on pub was closed when this occurred. NG14 7JR Micro Brewery Kings Clipstone 22.5.2020 Advice has been given to Kings Keepers Bothy Brewery does not Clipstone Brewery regarding what Mansfield Road have a premises they can and cannot do. Facebook NG21 9BT posts show that the brewery is currently advertising the delivery of alcohol to members of the public, which is not covered under their wholesale licence, nor do they have a Temporary Event Notice. Unicorn Hotel Complainant says 31.5.2020 LEO investigated and all in order. 1 Trentside that on Sunday there Gunthorpe were people drinking NG14 7FB in the Unicorn beer garden with no social distancing being observed. He thought they were buying from the Unicorn but it looks more likely that that are buying from Tom Browns and taking into the beer garden. He says photos of this were on Facebook.
