EDF Energy (West Burton Power) Limited (referred to in this letter as EDF Energy) is intending to make an application to the Secretary of State for a Development Consent Order for a new gas-fired peaking plant power station of up to 299 megawatts (MW) at the existing West Burton Power Station Site, to be known as West Burton C.
