The ways they talk to and treat each other are so much more fully formed than half of my own relationships in the real world, that I half envy them their passions, arguments and frustrations. If you have never been fortunate enough to experience Warren Ellis as a writer of an ensemble cast, then you would be hard pressed to find a better example of Ellis' style than FreakAngels. The Freakangels come to a dysfunction understanding, as they try to make the world better. Overall: It would be a real solid comic if the story was clear about what the hell's happening and if there was any reason to like the characters except for a few laughs but it really misses the mark on those 2 things. There are some fascinating characters, and also some great themes at work. Their relationships with each other are clearly revealed with no wasted space or verbiage this is a weekly comic strip so time and space are precious. No trivia or quizzes yet.
