Nowadays, transport and traffic is an important part of every country’s economy and presents a multidisciplinary area with number of activities and processes going on daily. It requires application of optimization methods and rationalization as well as application of modern information and communication systems in all its segments. It is constantly being strived to increase safety and security of people and goods in transportation systems, to increase efficiency in performing all activities, decreasing negative influence on the environment, to improve living standard in urban areas, etc. Therefore, gatherings of the experts, researchers and scientists, together with exchange of experience, present valuable contribution to the development in this field. This symposium is just one of many activities with a goal to promote exchange of knowledge and experience and to harmonize opinions in the field of traffic, transport and communications. SUBMISSION: The Program Committee of the symposium New Horizons 2017 has the pleasure to invite you to submit your papers (maximum 10 pages). All abstracts and papers should be written according to the Symposium’s official instructions MS Word template and submitted using online open conference system. All submitted papers will go through double-blind review. At least one of the reviewers comes from abroad. Only two papers can be submitted per person, either as an author or co-author. Selected papers will be published in the international journal ‘Horizons’ (EBSCO base), national journal ‘Železnice’ and international journal ‘Serbian Journal of Management’ (SCOPUS and EBSCO base).
