Entre ellos los de la terna citada y el de “Ariadna en Naxos”, su sexta con- tribución para la lírica, con una gestación muy compleja. Strauss compuso la ópera “Ariadna en Naxos” en un acto y como homenaje a Max Reinhardt, quien fuera en 1911 el re- gisseur (director de escena) en el estreno mundial de “El caballero de la rosa”. “Ariadna en Naxos” se representó en Strauss y Hofmannsthal octubre de 1912 en el marco de una ce- remonia turca, inserta a su vez en el de- Junto al inglés Benjamin Britten (1913- sarrollo de una adaptación alemana de la 1976), Richard Strauss (1864-1949) forma la comedia “El burgués gentilhombre” de pareja de los más importantes y prolíficos Molière, hecha por Hoffmansthal. -

La gazza ladra I personaggi e gli interpreti Fabrizio Vingradito, ricco fittaiuolo Paolo Bordogna (basso ) Basso-baritono. Milanese, ha studiato presso l’Accademia Lirica Internazionale di Desenzano del Garda e con Alber - to Zedda presso l’Accademia Rossiniana di Pesaro. Nel 2000 ha ricevuto il Premio Caruso e nel 2006 il Premio Bastianini. Considerato uno dei miglior “buffi” della sua generazione, ha in repertorio oltre cinquanta personaggi, tra cui ruoli diversi nello stesso titolo (Dandini e Don Ma - gnifico, Dulcamara e Belcore, Don Pasquale e Malatesta, Guglielmo e Don Alfonso, Figaro e Don Bartolo o anche Figaro e il Conte), in un repertorio che spazia dal barocco all’opera contemporanea, con una particolare predisposi - zione per Mozart, Rossini, Donizetti e il belcanto. Ha cal - cato molti dei palcoscenici internazionali più prestigiosi e collaborato con i più grandi direttori del nostro tempo. Dal 2005 è ospite regolare del Rossini Opera Festival di Pesaro. Ha inaugurato la stagione 2016-17 interpretando L’elisir d’amore (Dulcamara) al Palau de les Arts di Valen - cia, La Cenerentola (Don Magnifico) all’Opera di Bilbao e Così fan tutte (Don Alfonso) all’Opera di Roma. I suoi prossimi impegni comprendono ancora L’elisir d’amore al Liceu di Barcellona e al Covent Garden di Londra, Don Giovanni al Festival di Spoleto, Il maestro di cappella e Il barbiere di Siviglia al Teatro di San Carlo di Napoli, La pietra di paragone al ROF di Pesaro, Il barbiere di Siviglia all’Opéra di Marsiglia e a Lussemburgo, Il turco in Italia a Sydney, La Cenerentola e Le nozze di Figaro alla Staatsoper di Monaco. -

FULL INFORMATIU DESEMBRE 2018-GENER 2019 · N 51 TRISTAN UND ISOLDE, TRIOMFADORA DELS PREMIS DE LA CRÍTICA La temporada passada, la 17-18, va ser la de Tristan und Isolde per a bona part del públic del Liceu, però també per a la crítica. Una opinió unànime que es va reflectir a la trobada anual dels professionals especialitzats, convocatòria que ha complert la 26a edició. Aquesta iniciativa d’Amics del Liceu vol, des de fa un quart de segle, difondre els punts de vista de les persones dedicades a analitzar l'expressió artística. Sempre és enriquidor i instructiu, i encara més en un moment en què l'oferta és abundant (en el cas de l'òpera, relativament abundant). En la temporada de referència destaca el Gran Teatre del Liceu, més que en anteriors edicions dels Premis de la Crítica, perquè les produccions i els artistes que hi participaven han merescut gairebé la totalitat dels premis. Reunits el 22 de novembre, els crítics han destacat Tristan und Isolde com a millor representació de la temporada; Josep Pons per la direcció musical i Àlex Ollé com a director d’escena de la producció d’aquesta òpera de Richard Wagner. Andrea Chénier és un altre títol que ha sumat, d’una banda, el premi a la millor cantant femenina per Sondra Radvanovsky que interpretava Maddalena, i Carlos Álvarez que encarnava Gérard, com a millor interpretació masculina. El Premi al millor cantant en recital o en concert va ser per a Ildar Abdrazakov per Attila, també al Gran Teatre del Liceu. Present a la Schubertíada de Vilabertran 2018, i a diversos escenaris lírics de Catalunya, el baríton Josep-Ramon Olivé va ser designat com a millor cantant revelació per la seva trajectòria durant la temporada. -
