Qualified as a nurse with her twin sister and worked at General Hospital in . Married Howard and moved to Matopos then Victoria Falls where he was Superintendent. Win worked in Departmnet of National Parks until 1981 then operated the Ops Room in Police Reserve. After 14 years in , she returned to Vic Falls where she passed away peacefully on 10th April 2014. Died suddenly on 3rd March 1977 in Bulawayo, where he was born. He studied at University and practised law in Bulawayo and critiqued music for the Chronicle. He was with 17th Rhodesian Battery that traversed Italy in WWII and was a Chartered Accountant. Dennis passed away on 7th January, 2004 in Harare, Zimbabwe from inadequate medical care. Worked for BSAC retail in Salisbury and farmers financed Ted and his brother-in-law to open ‘Smith & Bennett’ John Deere agency. They broke sanctions through a branch in South Africa until it became the biggest outlet in the Transvaal and was closed by the

Passed away in Salisbury on 28th April 1973 and had suffered from emphysema which he probably got from the mustard gas in the trenches before he was captured in WWI. Born in King Williams Town and moved to Salisbury with her husband Ted who she met when he was nursed in her home after suffering concussion in an away rugby match. Widower to Joyce who passed away in August 2013 after a short battle with cancer, and survived by his daughter Joyce. After graduating he was teaching art at school in Essex, UK then immigrated in 1959 and started teaching at Lord Malvern School in Salisbury. Peter established an art school with Dulce Wessel that he later moved to Greenwood Park. He built a castle from local stone on a small holding in Umwinsidale in the 1980s. He worked in Mombasa, Kenya, before moving to Salisbury where he worked on a tobacco farm. He bought Diepfontein in 1949 and moved there with Barbara, a WREN during the war. Back on the farm at Zimba, north of Livingstone, in Zambia in December 1966, Andy shot a lion that had been killing cattle. It was wounded but he tracked it and was leapt upon. Andy weighed 107kg when playing rugby and was still strong but lost a finger during the wrestle before he broke away and the lion died. He returned to Zimbabwe and was farming in Figtree/Marula area when he and Lettie, his wife, were killed on 18th August 1987.

Tim’s wife alerted neighbours when Tim was taken. Keith took off in pursuit accompanied by Henry Allam and others. After a gunfight when the assailants stopped to confront them, Keith approached the vehicle when he thought the gang had fled but one hiding in Tim’s ute shot him. Tim was unhurt and freed. Keith had farmed in Raffingora, the DRC and Zambia before returning recently to retire. His unit was accused of ivory smuggling and he was court-martialled for insubordination during a confrontation after discovering that his office had been bugged. Senior Lecturer at Gwebi College of Agriculture 1967 and Principal in 1970 until 1976. Appointed Project Manager of Keiskammahoek Irrigation Scheme in 1976, then a Regional Manager in 1980.
