    Remarkable Wines from Mediterranean and Atlantic wine growing areas DO Montsant - DO Terra Alta - DOQ Priorat - DO Empordà - DO Ribeira Sacra - DOP Siurana Winery Coca i Fitó is an innovative, dynamic and creative cellar of singular wines wines made by Toni and Miquel Coca i Fitó. Toni is a solid Catalan experienced winemaker. He’s dedicat- ed the major part of his life in research and studies of viticul- ture, especially the relationship between soil types and vines, as well as varietals’ capacity to age alone or when blended. For his part Miquel began in the kitchen, studying the culinary arts and tourism. He jumped into the Wine World in 2000 as an exporter of wines and Cavas. Their project began in 2006 when the two brothers decided to make their first wine from the eponymous Coca i Fitó vineyard in Montsant, “Coca i Fitó Negre”. From that first seed planted in 2006 their wine project has become increasingly complex. Their desire and curiosity has led them to create a diverse line of wines in different appella- tions throughout the country. The winery is located in DO Montsant, in the village of El Masroig. This is where the majority of wines are made. Also Miquel & Toni Coca i Fitó some white wines are made in the neighboring. Una revisió de la història local a partir del delme Elvis Mallorquí Garciaa* a Professor a l'INS Santa Coloma de Farners RESUM Al costat de l’església parroquial de Fortià (Alt Empordà) es conserva un edifici conegut com la Casa del Delme. A la llinda, hi figura la data de 1767 i els símbols heràldics de Sant Pere de Rodes, monestir que posseïa la principal senyoria feudal de Fortià des de la fi del segle X i que n’obtenia el delme, la renda consistent en la desena part de les collites. L’objectiu d’aquest article és rellegir la història local de Fortià a partir de les dades de la documentació escrita, l’arqueologia i les restes patrimonials, però tenint sempre present qui prestava i qui cobrava el delme. Aquest podria ser el camí per detectar les especificitats locals de la història de Fortià en relació amb les poblacions veïnes. It has, recorded on the lintel, the date of 1767 and the heraldic symbols of Sant Pere de Rodes, a monastery that owned the main feudal lordship in Fortià since the end of the 10th century. At the same time, the monks of Sant Pere obtained the tithe, a rent consisting of the tenth of all crops. The purpose of this paper is to reread the local history of Fortià checking all data coming from the written documentation, archeology and monumental heritage still remaining, but always bearing in mind who paid and who obtained tithes.

    El Centre Excursionista Empordanès i la IAEDEN fan una denúncia pública contra el tancament dels camins veïnals de Cantallops, Sant Climent i Espolla a Requesens Amb l'excusa del Covid-19 s'han tancat, almenys, els camins veïnals de Cantallops, de Sant Climent i d'Espolla a Requesens. Una altra excusa, aquesta difosa de manera informal, ha estat relacionar aquest tancament de camins per evitar el narcotràfic. Acabat l'Estat l'Alarma i els camins segueixen tancats, amb l'agreujant que als camins veïnals de Sant Climent i Espolla, i de forma impune, s'han tallat arbres per dificultar el pas de vehicles. Però no només això, aquesta acció de tancament de camins veïnals representa una dificultat pels serveis d'emergència en cas d'incendi o accident. Requesens és una Muntanya emblemàtica per tota la comarca, un dels pulmons empordanesos i conté mostres destacables de patrimoni cultural, arqueològic i arquitectònic, des del neolític al segle XIX. A més, de forma especial, ho és per Cantallops, La Jonquera, Sant Climent, Espolla i Mollet de Peralada. En aquest sentit forma part del paisatge sentimental de nombroses persones i famílies. Aquest vincles emocionals i familiars la doten d'un significat molt poderós a tots nivells. Les processons que escara s'hi celebren són de gran interès antropològic, social i cultural. Aquestes manifestacions culturals són d'una gran potència i, el seu simbolisme de gran abast, en la línia dels estudis dels grans sociòlegs del segle XIX. A més d'emblemàtica, és la joia de la corona del Paratge Natural d'Interès Nacional de l'Albera, un patrimoni natural i monumental excepcional.
