Catálogo de Proveedores Introducción Este catálogo recoge las principales capacidades industriales y las innovaciones de producto y proceso más recientes de las empresas proveedoras del Sector de Automoción de Galicia. En el marco del Tercer Plan Estratégico para la Mejora Competitiva del Sector de Automoción de Galicia, P3CA 2025, surge la importancia de promocionar al sector de componentes y servicios de la comunidad gallega. A través de este documento, constantemente actualizado, se refleja la existencia de una red de empresas que ya suministran piezas, desde Galicia, a los principales constructores de automóviles de todo el mundo. El Sector de Automoción de Galicia es uno de los pilares fundamentales de la economía gallega y cuenta con una industria de componentes con un alto nivel de internacionalización, que exporta cada año más de 1.500 millones de euros a mercados exteriores. Además, más de 100 del total de empresas de CEAGA ya exportan sus productos o prestan sus servicios en el extranjero. Con el apoyo de la Xunta de Galicia, el Cluster de Empresas de Automoción de Galicia (CEAGA) fue fundado en 1997 por 37 empresas fabricantes de componentes de automoción, con el fin de desarrollar proyectos de carácter cooperativo orientados a la mejora competitiva. En noviembre de 2006 se creó la Fundación CEAGA, con el objetivo principal de “situar al Sector de Automoción de Galicia en una posición de liderazgo competitivo y sostenible en Europa en el Horizonte 2025, contribuyendo al progreso y a la calidad de vida de Galicia”. Actualmente CEAGA agrupa a la totalidad de empresas gallegas del sector industrial de automoción: más de 130 empresas proveedoras, el Centro de Vigo de Groupe PSA y el Centro Tecnológico de Automoción de Galicia (CTAG). -

Also, being highly multinational; it is the auto industry which paves the way for reforms in foreign trade; gets in foreign investment and facilitates exposure of the country on a very broad international stage. Further; this industry is highly responsible for channelizing a country’s technically skilled population; as it employs everyone from Engineers to Managers; from Shop floor work men to Advertising experts. Through a country wise comparative analysis; this paper tracks the automotive sector in the countries of: India; Spain; Brazil. Through a detailed study in each of these countries; and an exhaustive analysis of the collected data; this paper presents the challenges faced by the automotive sector in these countries. In the second part; the authors have made an attempt to highlight the differences in the market demands of the auto sector in these countries and how the industry has to cater to them. In the final facet of this paper; we discuss the recent economic slowdown; how did it affect these nations; their auto sectors and the attempts made to recover from it. -

Mazda3 Global Production Reaches 5 Million Units
Mazda3 Global Production Reaches 5 Million Units Mazda Motor Corporation has announced that the total production volume of the Mazda3 reached five million units at the end of April 2016. It is the second Mazda to reach five million units of production after the Mazda 323. The Mazda3 sets a new record for Mazda by achieving the milestone figure in only twelve years and ten months since production of the model commenced in June 2003. The Mazda3 is a core model for Mazda, accounting for approximately one third of the company's annual sales volume. It is manufactured at the Hofu Plant in Japan, Changan Mazda Automobile Co., Ltd., in China, AutoAlliance (Thailand) and Mazda de Mexico Vehicle Operation in Mexico. It is also assembled in Malaysia and Vietnam. Since the first generation, Mazda has consistently worked to exceed expectations with the Mazda3, refining its dynamic design and responsive and enjoyable driving performance. Currently in its third generation, the Mazda3 was fully redesigned in 2013, adopting SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY and KODO-Soul of Motion design to join Mazda's new-generation lineup. Critically acclaimed around the globe, the model won Canadian Car of the Year's Best New Small Car in 2013 and the international Red Dot Design Award in 2014. It was named a Top 3 Finalist for World Car of the Year and World Design Car of the Year in 2014. Mazda Southern Africa has recorded over 4200 Mazda3 vehicle sales since operations began on the 1st of October 2014 to end of April 2016; making the Mazda3 MSA’s best-selling model to date.
