It's great that Craft Breweries are continuing to produce a wide choice of new beers each week and with the second lockdown coming into force this week at least we can cheer ourselves up with a few new fresh beers. As from Thursday we can say goodbye to a beer at the pub or taproom and prepare ourselves for long evenings at home. Keeler 8.5% DIPA Mosaic plus LA3 yeast = Juice. The Mosaic imparts an absolute metric tonne of berry, bubblegum, and tropical notes, with underlying notes of earthy pine to keep everything all in check. This beer is everything you love about the new school - opaque, pulpy, all out juice. Polly’s Brew Co. Patina Effect 5.4% West Coast Pale A reeled back dry hop bill of 15kg of Chinook and 5kg of Simcoe plays those old school floral notes perfectly against the 10kg Chinook whirlpool addition - all the resin, all the bite, but with maximum drinkability. This is Polly's hitting peak old school. Pollys Brew Co. DDH Rosa 10% TIPA Extra lashings of Galaxy alongside its superstar line-up of Citra, Mosaic, Columbus and Ekuanot, just to give it that little push into the stratosphere. Rosa blooms with a bouquet of everything dank and juicy. Howling Hops Thanks, Whoever You Were 10% Barley Wine A big, beautiful barley wine aged in a combination of American and Japanese whisky barrels for 8 months. It has absorbed vanilla and spice notes, woven into the decadent malty goodness of this rich, deep amber beer. It’s sturdy stuff for strange times. Track Brewing Co. Reasons To Reflect 4.2% Pale Ale Collab with Fyne Ales. Fermented with clean IS-05 yeast there is low yeast character to let the Strata dry hop shine through with notes of orange peel, peach & tangerine. Cask conditioned for a soft, creamy carbonation; it finishes with a lingering, gentle bitterness. Track Brewing Co. Time To Think 5.7% West Coast IPA Collab with Thornbridge. A West Coast IPA full of piney goodness that’ll take you back to the simpler time before haze was the craze and bitter was better. In the crazy fast paced world of 2020, don’t we all need Time To Think? Pilot Beer. Barrel Aged Double Mochaccino Stout 12.3% Imperial Stout In April 2019 Pilot filled just four oak Speyside whisky barrels with a batch of Double Mochaccino. Painstakingly bottled by hand and naturally bottle conditioned, this is a rich, full-bodied and ridiculously smooth treat. Their most special beer to date should be savoured; favourite chair and roaring fire optional. 3 Overtone Brewing Co. Dark Banter 11% Imperial Stout This Big American style stout uses vast amounts of Barley, Wheat and Oats to create a huge bold stout, perfect for those long winter nights. Overtone Brewing Co. Hedge Trimmer 7.5% NEIPA This big, juicy New England IPA is well hopped with Bru1, Azacca and Sultana, on a malt bed of Wheat, Oats and Honey Malt. Expect flavours of Pineapple and Citrus. Left Handed Giant Brewing Co. Stare Into The Sun 6.1% IPA Collab with Dugges. Tropical notes from the Citra are balanced by dank resinous notes so characteristic of Mosaic. A flavourful yet easy-drinking beverage for enjoying with your family and friends. Left Handed Giant Brewing Co. I Had Too Much Dream Last Night 8.8% IPA Galaxy backed up with two NZ big hitters, Motueka and Nelson Sauvin in the dry hop. Tropical fruitiness is complimented by a light spritzy body and subtle piney bitterness on the finish. Left Handed Giant Brewing Co. Everything In Sight 5% Pale Ale A brand-new pale ale from their St Philips brewery boasting Mosaic Cryo and Idaho 7 bringing piney resinous notes in a light body for supreme drinkability. Northern Monk Valour 10.5% Barley Wine This 10.5% American Barley Wine is rich in body and flavour with a sticky, silky mouthfeel. Generously hopped with US staples Citra, Simcoe, Ekuanot and Mosaic. Northern Monk 009 Special Agent Grey 7% Sour IPA Brewed with Azacca hops. A sour IPA fermented with Seville and blood orange before conditioning on cinnamon and Madagascan vanilla for a rounded and complex spice character. Northern Monk OFS018 5.5% Sour Over a wheat-led base, lime brings zesty acidity while the mint, a natural accompaniment in any context, provides an aromatic counter to the juicy flavours of the watermelon. 4 Brewgooder Impact 6.5% Coffee & Vanilla Stout Collab with Pact Coffee. Impact uses Pact’s house blend. Strong espresso aroma compliments a bold roast flavour, with hints of toffee sweetness. A velvety mouthfeel precedes a pleasant roasted coffee finish with smooth vanilla flavours. Weird Beard Brew Co. Gaslight The Electorate 10.1% Black Barley Wine With a blend U.S. hops (Amarillo & Cascade) and U.K. (UK Cascade & Minstrel). Expect orange citrus, a hint of grapefruit, red berry and a slight herbal floral finish. All balanced with a rich, full, caramel body from the malt. Pressure Drop Brewing Co. Karate 7.4% NEIPA Juicy overripe mango & luscious pineapple notes with a touch of citrus that’s more satsuma than lemon/lime. Soft and full mouthfeel but light enough to keep you coming back for more. This fruit basket has a black belt. Pressure Drop Brewing Big Berry Energy 3.8% Sour Five berry sour - Raspberry, Gooseberry, Blueberry, Lingonberry and Haskap (yes, it’s a berry). Super sessionable sour. No fruit smoothie here- just bursting tart fruity vibes. North Brewing Co. Imperial Stout 10.5% Imperial Stout Collab with Seven Islands Brewery. Full bodied and holding an abundance of complex flavours, it journeys through flavours of red berry coffee, raisin, fig, caramelised apple, bitter dark chocolate and warming roast character. The beer was recirculated through deshelled pistachio nuts, adding subtle notes of wood, pine and honey. Electric Bear Brewing co. Same As It Never Was 6.8% West Coast IPA This IPA was brewed using a clean simple malt bill and American ale yeast to let the hops shine; Simcoe, Bravo, Amarillo & Azacca bring together a hop profile boasting notes of citrus, candied orange, and pine, all backed up by a restrained and subtle bitterness. 5 Pomona Island Brew Co. If I Only Had A Hammer 12% Imperial Stout BA IRS Pedro Ximinez 2020 This barrel aged Imperial Stout has been resting in a Pedro Ximenez cask and has developed a sweet, sticky, rich and very, very decadent character that will develop over time but is excellent to drink right now. Pomona Island Brew Co. If I Only Had A Bell 12% Imperial Stout BA IRS Port Cask 2020 This barrel aged Imperial Stout has been resting in a Port barrel and has acquired a delicious warming fruit character that will develop over time but is excellent to drink right now. Pomona Island Brew Co. If I Only Had A Little Romance 12% Imperial Stout BA IRS Glen Moray 2020 This barrel aged Imperial Stout has been resting in a Glen Moray 27 year Ex Bourbon Barrel courtesy of Chorlton Whisky and has developed rich, sweet floral notes. A smooth yet robust whisky character that will develop over time but is excellent to drink right now. Pomona Island Brew Co. If I Only Had A Heart 12% Imperial Stout BA IRS Caol Ila 2020 This barrel aged Imperial Stout has been resting in a Caol Ila 11 year hogshead courtesy of Chorlton Whisky. This is our third Caol Ila vintage, it retains that strong hit of peat, that’s balanced with sweet syrupy notes. A decadent, powerful beer that will develop over time but is excellent to drink right now. Pomona Island Brew Co. Boogie Chillin’ 7.1% DDH IPA Citra, Idaho 7, Sorachi Ace and Galaxy double dry hopped IPA. Drop Project Baked 6.2% Pastry Stout Brewed with the finest IPA Malt, Caramalt, Special B, Munich Malt, Chocolate Malt and an enormous serving of oats. A creamy chocolately yet dangerously sessionable offering. Light roast chocolate top notes round off a smooth, creamy body with minimal bitterness. Vibrant Forest Brewery Fenton 4.8% Pale Ale Idaho 7 and Simcoe hops blended together onto a firm malt base. Idaho 7 brings a lot of apricot and peach character, while Simcoe offers a hit of grapefruit and ripe tropical fruits.
