The Workplace Health Achievement Index was called for and tested by the American Heart Association’s CEO Roundtable to provide employers with best practices to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of workplace health programs.
“Our CEO members have collectively pledged to improve the health level of our nation’s companies, their employees, and communities,” said Henry Kravis, Co-CEO and Co-Chairman of KKR and Co-Chairman of the American Heart Association CEO Roundtable. “We hope other companies will join us in this important mission and that ultimately we can all recognize – and learn from – what leading employers are doing across the country.”
“These tools build on our companies’ successes and showcase what we’ve been learning,” said Terry Lundgren, Chairman of Macy’s, Inc. and co-Chairman of the CEO Roundtable. “Now, we invite others to use the tools and share their experiences so we can continue to learn what works to improve workplace health.”
