Your grocery donations and gift cards have been a staple of this ministry grocery donations and gift cards have been a staple of this ministry. B-LOVE now reaches out across the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts to partner parishes and stakeholders to bless the needs of neighbors.

Thank you for your generosity!

The limits on some food purchases make it difficult for us to gather the quantities of food needed. Currently, we are filling 185 bags with food each week, twice what we were doing in the fall. Thanks to the continued support of so many of you, we have not had to refuse any requests for food.

Here specifically is what you could donate. Even one or two helps, but sizes are important. While larger sizes may seem more generous and economical, the bags quickly become too heavy for the recipients and for the drivers who lift as many as 40 bags.

Canned chicken (12.5oz) or tuna (5oz each) Bag or can of beans Peanut butter (18oz) Individual serving cups of fruit or applesauce 1 lb. pasta (any type) 1 lb. rice Box macaroni and cheese Cereal (10-12 oz) Crackers (10-12 oz), e. g. Wheat Thins/Triscuits Marinara sauce (24 oz), preferably in plastic jar Hearty soup

Click here to sign up to sort, pack or deliver bags.

St. Stephen’s families would also appreciate $50 VISA gift cards. These cards may be purchased online or in person at stores throughout the area. These we ask to be sent to the Redeemer Parish Office or dropped off in the mail slot at Redeemer.

Velura Perry Opportunities for Parish Involvement

Becoming Beloved Community is taking a break and will resume Wednesday, April 14th at 7:30pm

We will be taking a short hiatus for the next two weeks, and will resume on Wednesday, April 14th at 7:30pm.

Mike+ will lead us at this next meeting, as we begin “The Cross & the Lynching Tree” by James Cone. "The Cross and the Lynching Tree" invites us as Christians to understand the central place suffering holds for our understanding of Jesus. Through his prayerful and thought provoking insights, James Cone will challenge us to understand our sisters and brothers of color and their Christian faith and struggle in soul-changing ways. You will be challenged and you will be blessed!

We hope you will join us in two weeks! Please note: Wednesday will be our new day to meet.

Here is the Zoom Link for April 14th. Meeting ID: 830 5811 5456

Please email Debby Mills with any questions or for more information. Newcomers and new perspectives are always welcome!
