This report was issued in January 2009 by TRAC, the Trails for Richmond Action Committee. TRAC’s mission is to "Complete the San Francisco Bay Trail in Richmond ..." Richmond has 26 miles of San Francisco Bay Trail completed -- more than any other city on this planned 500-mile hiking and biking trail encircling San Francisco and San Pablo bays. • Pt. Richmond Historic District TO: 2010 is shaping up to be a banner year adding at least five miles of new trail. Opening the landfill loop will provide long-awaited public access to the shoreline of between Wildcat and San Pablo Creeks.

TRAC would appreciate your support on the major challenges remaining: 1. providing a connection with Point Pinole Regional Shoreline 2. closing the five-mile gap between Pt. Richmond and Pt. San Pablo Yacht Harbor.
