Key Qualifications Dr. Panhwar has more than forty years Teaching, Research, Consulting-economic, financial, budgeting and auditing, Training Coordination, Research Supervision, Academic Management and Administration experience in interdisciplinary setups of Academic Institutions, (civil / naval) Government, Regulatory authority and International Development Agencies to his credit Dr. Panhwar has worked as Dean of Management Sciences and provided academic and research leadership to all three (3) campuses of Bahria and has authored more than 100 Research Publications/Reports on economic and social analyses of public policies and programmes. Dr. Panhwar has recently (February 2011) retired as Pro-Vice Chancellor and Meritorious Professor from University of . He was actively involved in academic/ administration, curriculum development, academia and industry linkage, organizing of seminars, symposia & workshops and representation on statutory bodies of the public and private during his seven (7) years association as Director General with University Grants Commission (UGC/ HEC). Dr. Panhwar was also working as Economic Advisor in a multidisciplinary team of expatriates, appointed by the World Bank for assisting in its change management programme on participatory basis in Irrigation and Drainage Sector. He has undertaken assignments with International Development Agencies, including Overseas Development Administration (ODA), Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), The World Bank (IDA), Asian Development Bank ( ADB), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Food and Agriculture Organization) (FAO) and Higher Education for Development and Cooperation (HEDCO- Ireland). Mostly, related with water and its physical, economic, social and organizational areas. Dr. Panhwar is HEC approved Ph.D supervisor and supervising Ph.D/M.Phil/MS students in the field of Business Administration, Economics and Education at public/private institutions in Sindh Province of . He is recipient of two prestigious awards in the field of education and research in social sciences.
