List of Jesuits with Credible Accusations of Sexual Abuse of a Minor

Jesuits with Credible Allegations of Abuse of a Minor

Dec. 7, 2018 - The Jesuits U.S. Central and Southern Province today released a list of names of Jesuits with credible allegations of sexual abuse of a minor. This list contains the names of the Jesuits who are or were members of the U.S. Central and Southern (UCS) Province and its predecessor entities: the Province, the Missouri Province, or the Independent Region of Puerto Rico of the .

These men fall into one of three categories:

Jesuits of this province against whom one or more credible claims of sexual abuse of a minor or a vulnerable adult have been made; Jesuits from other provinces against whom there are credible claims resulting from their work while assigned to this province; Jesuits of this province whose names have been published on diocesan websites or the websites of other Jesuit provinces.

Inclusion on this list does not imply that the allegations are true and correct or that the accused individual has been found guilty of a crime or liable for civil claims.

Additional information about each man follows the initial list. While a list of each man’s assignments is included, it is important to note that the allegations do not necessarily stem from any of the listed assignments.
