HIS MAJESTY THE KING• has been graciously pleased to approve the award of the Colonial Police Medal for Gallantry to the following member of the Palestine Police Force :— No. 1222 Mounted Police Constable MANSOUR ASSAD SALEM. for his courageous action when armed men stopped and searched a bus in which he was riding on a country road north of Jerusalem on the evening of the 3rd May, 1947.
